I have to be honest, the requirements for the beta leave a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. I get having gold premier as a way to bypass the requirements, but the specific "continuous membership since 2012" way seems a little exclusive to people who have had the resources to maintain membership for that long. I've had membership on and off since probably around 2004, with a lot of the 'off' time being for financial reasons. Nonetheless, I believe it's likely that I've had enough membership over the course of my Runescape career that someone could be eligible for this beta, and have spent less time as a member than I have. Surely a better system would be to base it on the total time an account has spent as a member, rather than set a date that someone has to have been a member since.
I have to agree 100%. Jagex...
I've been a member for probably a decade, with any gaps in membership lasting no more than a month each time (I manually purchased memberships in the past, instead of automatically renewing.) It's disappointing that your criteria for BETA access is 'continued membership', rather than 'all-time membership', which is a much better criteria in all ways. As it stands, people with 6 years less of total membership time than me are allowed in the BETA, while I am not.
I guess continued membership is an easier variable to keep track of (it's displayed right here, after all), but it's quite worrying if you can't even keep track of total membership time... I'm sure it's a useful number to use in statistical analysis, no? Or maybe you don't even do statistical analysis, but I doubt you can be THAT inefficient. In the chance you do keep track of total membership time, it's even MORE worrying if you were that short-sighted to not use it as criteria.
Yes, I'm salty. But the criteria you have used just stinks of high incompetence and highlights the lack of critical thought you possess.

If you are going to take time to structure your thoughts, why not include the word "closed" beta? Honestly, I don't know how people can be salty for not getting into the closed beta. The closed beta went on for 3 days, and probably will for another 6 or 9. Wooptidoo. Wait for the open beta.
Hi, I haven't tried the beta of NXT client but as I read the announcement on site it seems that we need a really high-end PC to play it, so will low end PC be able to play with NXT client when it's released or we have to upgrade our PC to play it?

It's an issue of people who have been a part of the community for years, and in many cases, grew up in the community, not having an opportunity to partake in the development of one of the biggest changes to RuneScape since the Evolution of Combat.
EDIT: I don't know why the forums are saying that I said the first part... I didn't.
