I am having an issue relocating the game files using the client. I make a new folder for them. select where to move game Cache, then once i hit "select folder" it deletes the location i have set and then proceeds to tell me that "The system cannot find the path specified"

I am playing the Beta Version since it came out and i really need to say that the beta is awesome. I found some bugs like 10+ which i reported to Jagex. One thing which i didnt know how i could show u that il need to post it here:

The ''^^'' and some other Smiöys doesnt work in the beta.
And if i close on my imac the client there is rarely a warning if i really want to close the client

And maybe you could bring some of the old icons back like the runes, energies and ores cause the new Icons doesnr look really well

I fixed the client. All I had to do was uninstall it, and reinstall it. Works fine now! The newer graphic are amazing, and while it is a bit buggy, I really like the NXT beta. :)

Hello all, My Gameplay is extremely choppy with low fps even though I'm on min settings.
My specs meet the requirement but its so slow.
is there anyway i can choose to use directx permanently instead of openGL?
Somehow my pc cant handle openGL even on the normal client.

i cant seem to find the "report a bug" forum specifically for NXT. I had a weird thing happen when teleporting from Kuradels dungeon to Priff. I dont know if screen shots are allowed on the forums but everything was black and i couldnt see anyone. It appears logging out and back in fixes the problem. Again this is on the Beta NXT client

Tried this on both my weak gaming laptop, and strong gaming PC, and I have to say, NXT has had me throuroughly impressed thus far. The performance is, by far, beyond what the Java client can handle (for both machines), and the visuals are gorgeous. Better graphics with better performance? I'd call that a fair trade off. ;) (And no more "Loading... please wait"? This is revolutionary!)

I did a bit of slayer and combat training for a few hours on the client, just to see how it would perform, and overall, I have noticed that NXT's ability to render things is a little... behind, at least compared to what the Java client is able to pull off. If I open my bank, for example, it takes it far longer to load the items that are in there. Almost every animation in the game is delayed when you first perform it, and possibly even beyond that time, as well.

I ventured off to fight some kalphites, and my character was glitched to the point where he was only running on the spot, and when I went to attack a kalphite (if it would let me click on it in the first place), it would just show the numbers bombarding it, yet my character hadn't even moved or done anything (reload fixed it).

Aside from the dodgy animation rendering, interface windows, items, and other stuff, the only other issues that I can recall having right now, is my bloom, and my minimap. For some reason, bloom just seems to be far behind the Java client. For example, with the eye glow auras, when I activate one of the NXT client, it doesn't really shine at all, but more so shows this glitched, coloured effect that consumes the eyes. As for the minimap, although it looks far smoother, the minimap icons have been affected negatively by this, and are now small and blurry.

The buggy stuff aside, I could already drop the Java client in favour of NXT, even in it's current beta state. This is definitely a step up, and puts HTLM5 straight into the dust. Hopefully the remainder of the development time goes smoothly!
