one major problem i found so far is that, the nxt beta heats my laptop up more than the normal runescape client did. and im using the same graphical details. and i dont exactly have a crappy laptop. Also when im trying to rotate my screen with the wheel roller thingy in my mouse like i normally do, just click it in and drag, now my screen still keeps spinning for half a sec to 1 sec later after ive stopped dragging. causing me to not be facing exactly where i dragged it to. in combat that would be very very annoying and makes the screen feel shaky Clues are Life

when teleporting to priff.. the minimap doesn't load the detailed map until couple of minutes later... also cosmetic items bought from solomons store are highlighted in purple when you examine people(this is actually good and might be intentional)(might have missed a patch note this week)

Oh, I'm liking it a lot! First time I logged in I got stuck with nothing loading, so I quit and started again and then all was well. Everything looks great.

I'm just going to stare at the ships reflecting in the waves for the rest of the day.

Edit: and I think its quite neat that the clan emblems on the floor of the Prif GE glow when the VOS is in that clan area. Nice touch.

I tried to log in after an hour of: error saving file.
restarting my computer helped.
used the RIGHT authenticator numbers.
and it denied me acces. told me to go to my email
wich is wierd because this device is trusted. I can play the java client just fine.
also since idk my j.a.* questions for the most part i hope i wont be blocked for trying to get on a beta version. after all this i tried to restart the client to get back to: error saving file.

This seems very hard on the graphics card. Perhaps it is not yet optimised for the different types of hardware.

I run a Win 7, i7, 580 setup and the NXT clients generates a GPU temperature of 100C in the HIGH setting with anti-aliasing, about 100% GPU usage. With anti-aliasing switched off I can get down to around 50% GPU usage and around 90C core temp, still borderline of where I like my graphics card to run (and yes, it is clean :-) ). CPU usage seems to be concentrated on a single core...

The frame rate is a solid 60 which is nice.

Polypore dungeon: missing wall surrounding the area (screenshot available on request).
Wizard's Tower: missing floor separations and possibly walls when looking up.
