Still sad you value the members who've been subscribed for the last 4 years more than honouring your veterans than have been playing since RSC. Anyone can be a "veteran" that has an old account. They are look for those who have been active for a long time consecutively or plan on playing a lot. You can have an account for 10 years and have 1-2 year gaps.
I should have been more clear. I meant players who've been veteran members. Life gets busy and you can't keep playing RuneScape so why would I throw money away for a product I'm not using at the time?
I was subscribed from 2002-2007 and then sparsely played until I finished college. Now that I have free time again to play I've been subbed continuously since Nov 2012.
It's upsetting my 8 years of membership, ignoring short subbed periods, is unconsidered.
Dude, you are not ignored. Just get premier today and get access. Obviously they need members to try it out first. I don't understand, if you need runescape membership you would need to buy premier anyways. And considering that premier has its own incentives already (since premier is membership for a year plus bonuses), the beta access is just a bonus and not paid. It's like Playstation Plus. You pay $50 a year to play games online. The free games are just a bonus.
You're missing the point. Players subbed from Jan 31st 2012 to now do not need to pay for beta access due to their 4 years of continuous membership.
I have no desire to pay an extra $40 a year for (a majority of ) perks I will not use. What I am asking for is recognition for many years of membership.
Well, it's just access to the closed beta. There will be an open beta.
