Well special effects is indeed a worth while cause. Here in North America, in both the USA and Canada, we have our own fundraiser for sick kids that are patients of different Children Miracle Network Hospitals. This fund raiser is called Extra Life. It is a fundraiser where gamers can get people to sponsor them for a 24 hour game-a-thon, wither it be pc gaming, console gaming, board games, card games or even table top games. Basically any and all games can be played. Also as a fundraiser you can have all the funds you raise from sponsors go to a hospital of your choice, and with a lot of hospitals all over North America it is plenty easy to find a local hospital. The way that it works is that you sign up on extra life's website at extra-life. 0 r * and from there you are given tools to help direct people to your fundraiser page where they can donate via Credit Card or Pay Pal and all money goes directly to the hospital that you the fundraiser has chosen. So no need to be the middle man and get the money to the hospital.
