So...

Player A buys 1000 bonds and sells them to player B.

Player A now has 7bil, or W.e the value is.

Player C did not purchase any bonds to sell.

Player A now has an ingame advantage over Player C due to Irl wealth.

Good job Jagex..

bonds are about 10mil right now. 1000 bonds equals *5000. 1000 x 10m = 1x10^10 in runescape money lmfao!!!

How much do bonds cost rl?
1000*5?

I don't think someone would be spending 5000 on a game..

irl, bonds are $5 as jagex said. by that logic, and this time, i'll make a proper estimate, the actuall profit that person would make is 1,000,000,000,000 gp

You're full of it. Almost everything you were saying was read off of a card in front of you. Your cheap way in talking, your failure to speak with confidence has convinced me to believe otherwise. At least bots made buyables doable.

"Hi, my name is Sam and I have been playing RuneScape for 6 months now. I love training combat, but some better equipment and armour would really help me. I want to buy Bonds and swap them for some ganodermic armour. I might finally be able to join my friends on a Nex run!"

Cool! Now my Dad can buy me millions of GP for Christmas without having to work for it. I love being rich.

if we use bonds to buy members, what happens w/ loyalty points, do we still get them?
Your loyalty rate and the loyalty programme will act as normal. As long as you have membership these will continue unaffected.

Good job Jagex..

Player A would still not have the skills and XP required to use any items they may have traded bonds for. Nor will the player have the knowledge of the game to be able to use those items most effectively. The player will still have to invest their time in the game to increase their XP and to learn how, or where, is best to use the items.

Player C may well still be more successful than Player A depending on their experience and time spent within RuneScape.

In addition to this your Player B who has purchased the bonds is able to gain membership, additional spins, or RuneCoins by purchasing those bonds.

Will go update my post to say they are both maxed, sorry it seems i forgot to do so :(

Thank you for the reply though!
Oh, not to mention Player B could use all those bonds to buy spins, get a few mil agility xp and effectively buy a non-buyable.
I've lost my arrow. Have you seen it? It's been on my mind a lot lately...

As long as
gold farmers
sell their gold cheaper than bonds it'll continue . Sorry, Jagex.

I'm not too sure about this. Buying bonds is safer than risking your account by buying from a 3rd party.

So how about the 40-50% of the players that were actually buying all the gold? Are they just going to continue playing runescape without ANY punishment at all? If these players would have gotten punished for buying gold you wouldn`t have needed to make bonds in the first place because they are the reason gold trading for real life money exists in the first place. But oh well i guess that banning all those rulebreakers would hurt your salary too much....

My apologies for any spelling/grammatical mistakes English is not my first language.
