Yes, it was nice back in the day to see this, but time change, more games are released as the years go on. People aren't going to focus on just one game until the day they die, and it's harder to keep interest for all ages forever. You will see decrease in numbers over time, then spikes back up then decreases... You also need to remember that gold farming (although still an issue as well as botting) was even more out of control back then.

Games do not last forever, online games especially. But people say "this online game is dying" or "that online game is dying" ... communities grow up, people move on. Besides I see WOW packed, I also see 100k or so sometimes more on Runescape at peak hours.

Everyone is so focused on numbers and so concerned about the future, they panic quit or freak out when they should enjoy the game while it's available. But it seems more and more people get on the nostalgia bandwagon or complaining train that they lose focus of what's right in front of them. You're not going to be on this earth forever, you could even die tomorrow, enjoy what you have today and stop taking it for granted. I'm on YouTube - Search me at Littlejayberry . Or don't. After fighting for an hour to get steam running and signed up and all, i had an estimates 2 hour 20 minute wait time for Block and Load to download/install? Sorry, I don't want a new costume in Runescape that badly. Good luck with it, but you'll have to get along without me.

After playing 5 Matches, still waiting on my costume. However, I do find this all a little unfair for some players (Mac users I see are suffering most)
Why not just let plays claim the costume free for a week, then add the 'Play 5 Matches'. Some people (Like myself) really dislike FPS games, and these matches can last up to 1 hour! Come on Jagex! 5 Matches just for a costume? Make it more worthwhile, add some Weapon Overrides too!

as if they did before.


i dont mind jagex working on other games, because that could benefit runescape.
i DO mind the fact that those games seem to fail big time. Which is BAD for runescape.
correct me if i am wrong.
