I've stopped playing a long time ago, but I still check the main page from time to time. I can't even explain to myself why, I think it's just out of nostalgia. This game was a huge part of my youth.
Anyway, for some reason i can only associate your name with "RS going downhill". Maybe you just got unlucky, who knows. But I associate the last 7 years with frustration, disbelief, annoyance, broken promises and giving up on this game.

Thanks for everything. You can finish Your job with a smile, not with a tear. You did a Great job and People Will remember You!

we will remember him as the CEO that destroyed this game with MTX and copy cating other games.

Aaah, I miss the old days a lot! The times when training skills to 99 was a real achievement; now it's all wizened with updates such as Squeal of Fortune & Warbands. Things that saw the light only with you in charge.

I miss the impact that combat skills had on your PvM capabilities; each level had its importance.

I miss the pure determination to go past level 99, even when there was no content to achieve.

I miss when XP could only be gained from directly training a skill or completing a quest.

I miss when everything was more click-intensive, because it shown your enjoyment & determination to get achieve more.

In short; I miss RuneScape 2009-2011.
I hope that JAGEX one day make a server of this year for us hardcore players to enjoy.

I hope Mark Gerhard makes the right decision for RuneScape. I strongly believe that he's a nice guy and that all the changes he made were for the greater good of RuneScape - however, it was not the case for many things. 2014 has been a fantastic start for RuneScape though, and I must give you credit for that, so thank you.

I just really hope that the new CEO is experienced in the field of games management. We want a CEO that is experienced, not full of heart. We play the game for enjoyment and what goes on behind the scenes we do not know, but for as long at the updates are good then we are happy.

I hope that Mod Pips is experienced at the job you are giving him, rather than a job given by favouritism.
