Firstly, the header section is quite nice. A lot of people said that levels and exp are the most important things to them, and this is understandable in any MMO, especially RS, so it's good that these are given pride of place at the top. That said, the yellow letters are a touch difficult to read against that sky background, so if we could remove that for the log, that'd be good.

Onto those rectangles!

Starting with quests, I see that this has changed from a pie chart to progress bars. I don't really agree with this (as two bars go one way with the third going the other)
but to be honest, that's just my opinion, and some people may prefer the bars (plus it's more consistent with the in-game quest progress thing) So I'm mostly indifferent over this, really.

Skills though.... what have you done. One of the main things people said was poor about the old design was the fact you couldn't see all the skills easily. While it's nice that you've put a seperate skills tab, you've actually reduced the number of skills visible when someone first visits a page. Users should not have to click at all once they get to the log, unless they're reading into something which is quite in-depth and won't fit on the front page, such as quests. This is, again, a basic web design guideline, and something which was mentioned about the previous version numerous times.

Clans... eh. I've never been to big on clans, but I do notice that this now takes up a fair bit more space than it used to. I don't really have a problem with that, but I do wish it didn't mean that not having a clan gave you more activity space.

Speaking of spac ial issues, why is there now a pie chart which compares attack, magic and range? There was something similar on the old design, and again, people said it was useless. While it now gives a better representation of each style, it's still completely redundant, since it basically just reads your combat exp, which if I was interested in, I could look at my skills.

If it were to actually show which style I used most, that'd be cool, but I suspect you don't have that information, nor are you presumably now gathering it, which means this is just wasted space. If you're not going to remove the feature, at least have the clan flag block replace that, rather than the top half of my activity stream. Plus, I may not be a skiller, but I'm fairly sure they don't have much use for this, and it probably looks a bit odd on their log.

If it was even a pie chart of all your skills, that might be cool, but stop with the extra treatment for combat.

I do quite like the split statistics bit, although it is rather large for something which shows a few numbers. Also, when logged in and it shows the days played instead of the total again, days should be the same size of text as the number, with x hours as its own size, this would improve the readability.

Activity stream. Why is it smaller? It's great that there's an activity stream with a lot more events, but it shouldn't be on an extra tab. The existing stream should have most of those events and scroll (unless you plan to make the page version go for a really long time before it starts removing events).

Now, about the tabs.

The skills tab is a wee bit of a highscores clone with meters. That's a bit odd, but I'll ignore that for my assessment.

Again with the sizing issues. I should never have to scroll to the side on a webpage except if I make my browser really small so that the elements phsyically don't fit. Given that half the page is made of relative progress bars, these can easily be resized. There's also a lot of vertical scrolling necessary, the bars and icons should ideally be quite a bit smaller to save users effort in viewing skills and finding specifics.

Also, I can't really compare on my own page, but please don't tell me that the bars only go green when you've maxed a skill. I don't like encouraging players to think that maxing is a goal in runescape, (and while that might be the direction you wish to go,) I think it gives the wrong impression of what the game is, and should be, about.

Quests page is good, it's much more readable than the old, tiny version. It should rearrange to one column on small browsers though! Besides that, it's pretty awesome, and could only really be improved by more options on the filter (and sorting options would be cool too) such as quest difficulty.

The larger activity stream is just too flashy for what it is. Where possible, I suggest you adopt a KISS style design plan, and only make it fancy after the initial design is done, and only if it doesn't interfere with the idea of simplicity and readability. again, this should shange into one column for thinner windows, and focus on showing more activities at once than looking good.

Overall, there's been some definite improvements, but I do feel like you've cherry picked the feedback that you've chosen to operate on.

I am quite disappointed that there seem to be zero relative measurements used for any elements, but I'm hoping that since there still seem to be updates in the pipeline, that you can fit this in too.

From my log, I found out than my favourite combat method is Ranged. Wow. This is not true!! My fav is Magic. I have the most xp in Ranged, coz I chinned it back in the days when it was ridiculously easy.

Most XP =/= Favourite Method

I suppose, players should be able to customise their logs. One could check their favourites in-game - just the combat method and 4 other skills. In this way, the log will be much more representative.

Skills area looks much better not going to 200m, but it would still be nice if the exp was put inside the bar, instead of a little tiny number below it.

This is similar to what i was going to say.
If you put the experiance inside the bar it could be alot bigger, plus keep the percentages.
I also find the way you have displayed the skill experiance really confusing.
Please can you display the experiance from levels 1-99 and then to level 120, and then 200m.

I really like the rest of the adventurers log, you have done a great job with it.

It does give you more activity space. People who are not in one get a much taller activtiy feed and no clan box :)

I won 10m? Awesome! But I have no idea how to retrieve it, as I really didn't win 10m. Perhaps a glitch or something? How can I confirm this is wrong?

- edit, apparently you cannot post links to images? Anyway, how would I go about contacting you guys about this glitch?
