I very much enjoyed this thread. I myself begun in the early years of RS and will say that EoC and mass amounts of changes really made the game rather unstable I believe. I have recently begun playing and have been enjoying it as I have started to learn more and begun to adapt to the everything. I do miss the community as it was a large part of my gameplay and I hope to see it return soon!

1. 200K dodgy accounts. Right. So does that explain why all your minigames died out? Namely SWS, the largest most actively minigame that is 100% dead now. "All bots when it was 100+ vs 100+," yeah, right, my FL would tend to disagree. Not to mention i'm highly skeptical that only a small handful of people from a very small amount of FC's were all botters. This goes for any other content in-game.

2. You can detect all bots with 100% certainty? You've been caught lying. There are bots that are 100% undetectable, that's a fact. Don't believe me? Search the net for a while until you find what i'm talking about.

3. Bonds =/= wiping out gold sellers.

I've seen your videos of you banning botting community events at CWS. What does that mean? You're 100% in the loop when it comes to what botting/RWT communities are up to. What does that mean? You should have priced your bonds accordingly, did you? No. However, your integrity is compromised since you've begun selling gold. Cut the crap with your colorful language, "micro-transactions."

4. Players online. Minus all the players on OSRS, sorry, but stop skewing, LYING, about your statistics when anyone can log into RS this very second and notice a stark difference between the activity of now compared to pre-eoc.

well done mmg after 4 years of consistently diminishing player base not just bots your bit of marketing has brought a small spike these last few months there is still a hell of along way to go maybe when old school rs gets back to just before you came to jagex you might tempt me back new rs is too far gone under you stewardship to even consider well done

I think this is awesome forum, shows runescape in a glimpse, what it started out as and what it is today. The getting rid of the bots was a big deal thank you for that, and all the new content is very wonderful.

hey mod mac im writing this message because u seem to be the right guy i ned to speak to about botting , my friend has had a permanent ban placed upon hiss account as a result ov macroonin on his account but the thing is i know he int a botter , ive seen him playin the game wiv my own eyes and what he has been doin on his account and i know he hasnt been doing that but he has been banned and he doesent know why and everytime we try to contact you to plead his case there is no reply and frankly my m8 has almost give up hope that he will ever get his rs account back because he knows he isnt a botter and i know it too but no one will listen to him , im asking for a way for him to be able to speak to a decision maker so maybe there might be a way for him to prove to you it wasnt specifically him doing the botting because he told me he had a theory that his little brother might have seen him enter his user and pass in and his brother does use bots because his account got banned to for referance check the account name Og,top rasta x on the system , his brother was the botter and they have a little rivalry on this game and it only a theory but we think he mite have botted my m8's account purposely to have this happen , i hope you see this thread and have an open mind and give my friendone more chance to prove he is a legit player as he has put over 6 years ov his life into this game and if you had seen his face when he was banned you would understand why im writin this essay because its not right and id hope he would do the same for me if i was in his position tbf

An investment company (IVP) owns the majority shares in jagex. They call the shots. Investment compnies have only one goal - to generate income from their investments for the owners and honchos of the investment company and secondly for their stockholders. When the income dries up, they either sell the asset intact or break it up and sell off the pieces. What is so hard to understand about that?

So how do you know JUST how much shares are owned in the company between the investment and the main company? Are you part of JaGex? JaGex has never mentioned how much of their share is theirs. No one's really mentioned much of it.
