PVM supplies crafters for wep materials who also need there gathering materials which output weapons for pvmers :P ?

Very interesting thanks Jagex! great to see some context to the player-base.

I always assumed a large proportion of players playing the game were early teens/adolescent folks. So it was a nice surprise to see that is not the case... does this mean we don't get any more stupid/cringe names like "squeal of fortune" again? :)

I do however find it hard to believe that only 1% of all accounts own a total wealth of over 1b gp... if that really was true then items would not end up costing almost that per set (such as asc bows ect.), as very few could actually afford that?

It is also fantastic to see that the player-base is world wide, a real achievement and displays the quality and diversity of the player community!

Grrrr Help.

Dear MMG, You have destroyed the Runescape player base.
Caused endless arguments over bringing in EOC.
Ignore the player hatred to buying xp and gold via SOF/TH
Made endless promises that you fail to deliver on time.. if at all.
Grab numbers out of the air as to how many like SOF/ and all those
posted in this OP with no back up stats whatsover.
Its pretty obvious North America has most players with Australia
having fewer as its probably 90 times bigger, your favourite number.
You are money mad making a penny out of anything or nothing, Loyalty
means getting RL Cash in your bulging wallet not time played hence the
90/10 split in SGS favouring Runecoins of course another issue you have
failed to explain to us.
EVERYTHING in SGS should be both RC or LP not the crap being LP.
Naming the top 3 and time played if you did that without their permission
along with some of your other fails should IMO be the last nail in your
coffin, you should quit now before you kill off Runescape altogether. .And now the end is near its time to raise the final curtain.
Regrets i have a few, but i did it my way.

When you commission a new survey, I respectfully request you pay a different company for better results!


Your company should be questioning this information. All newer surveys looking at male/female percentages playing computer games state a 50/50 split.

1. Was your survey information accurate?

2. If this information is accurate, then Jagex is doing something very, very wrong in their marketing to the gaming community. 16% female players, when the gaming community should be 50%, says you are missing out on a huge potential player base increase!

3. Having played this game since 2004, I believe that your real ration is 60/40. All you have to do is read this thread.
