A very interesting read. Probably the most fascinating one I have ever read as virtually every piece of news is related to in game content and/or recent game updates. It is refreshing to read something that does not have anything directly to do with something going on in the game (not that those are bad; they are just the vast majority of the main page threads).
This all sounds good, and the state of the game clearly seems to be in a better place with the very noticeable reduction in bots/gold farmers. People may say what they want about the player count being low on worlds, but frankly, I am very happy with it as it's certainly not abandoned on the worlds. I am able to accomplish what I wish to skill and kill wise efficiently without huge competition at many locations. If I want to find people, there is always the grand exchange. Or world 2. Or almost any mini game if you go to that lobby on it's home world. So, there is no shortage of seeing and talking to other players in the game if that is what is desired.
I personally am very happy with the state of Runescape. I have no real complaints with how you choose to do your micro payments (I do not buy spins. I have bought $20 of Runecoins twice for all the bank updates, a couple of cosmetic overrides, and I just HAD to have the wealth evaluator once for two weeks just to see one time what my bank value was. Now that I have that number in my head, I don't see the need to repurchase it for a very long time.) Most of these things just are not interesting or relevant to me. The number of updates is a bit much to keep up with. There are just constantly large content updates it seems that redefine ways to train a skill, and it's just become too much for me to keep up with or even really care about anymore. I guess by this point, I train how I train and it's already PLENTY saturated doing my day to day Runescaping.
Thanks for the message.
