Mark, I really enjoyed reading through this, and I have to agree, it has been a brilliant year, with, in my opinion, a large feeling of progression, and moving toward a more community-interactive game, and with many, many amazing progressive updates. First of all came the EOC, which I, at first, felt was too big a change, and would cause lots of issues. Quite the contrary actually, It was a brilliant update, that made Combat more fun and enjoyable. To those who didn't enjoy it, you gave OSRS, which has progressed massively since release, with a cohort of amazing Mods. I am proud to say that I have gone back onto OSRS for means of nostalgia, and I am really grateful that you brought something like that back, despite the costs to the company itself; it really shows how player-minded JaGeX really is.
There have also been many, many stunning quests, and accompanying lore released this year, and I think that the Dev team deserves a real pat on the back, 'specially Mod Osborne, provided he can pronounce my name now

My Favourite update this year overall has to be the Well of Goodwill. It really brought the community together towards a common goal, in order to raise money for Real-World charities. It was amazing, and commendable, how many people came and took part to raise money for such worthy causes. The highlight of my year, has to be my Charity event, not because I organised it, but because of the immense community support that it received and the sheer amount of fun that everyone had. I'm so glad that it was even possible to organise something like that, and I really hope you'll consider implementing a mechanism similar to the Well of Goodwill sometime in the future, and I'm sure many players would agree with me on that.
To summarise, this year really has been the year of not only the Player , but also;moreover, of the entire Community itself.And I hope that we, as a player base, can continue to improve the community.
