Congratulations to all the team at Jagex, it is gratifying to be part of the community and follow your work very closely. I'm sure 2014 will be a wonderful year and quite exciting for us, players, and for you.

I would like to congratulate the Brazilian translation team, responsible for the fantastic subtitles of this video; they managed to build rhymes and keep a sense of humor of amazing quality, congratulations.

Wish all a Merry Christmas and a happy new year,

Lim.

While Runefest comes a close second (thanks again for the drink, MMG!), I think the most magical moment in Runescape happened on the day the World Wakes quest came out.

There was some incredible hype for the quest, as it was promised to be one of the most epic and outstanding quests in the game to date. I was just as excited as anyone else, if not more, as I'm a very avid questeer. Whenever a new quest comes out, it becomes top Runescape priority. If I don't have a skill required, I get it fast and furiously.

Now, the quest came out on a monday, and I work a 9-to-5 job as a software developer. As awesome as Runescape is, my career comes first. I wouldn't be able to do the quest right as it came out, and because I usually am fairly busy after work as well, I would probably have to get it done over the course of the week. Fair enough.

However, through some freak coincidence, I got sick on the Sunday before, and was too ill to go to work; something that for almost two years, had almost never happened (coincidentally, I usually got my sick out of me on long weekends). I called out of work, passed out for a few hours, woke up able to partially move later in the morning.

Unable to return to sleep, I checked online and saw the World Wakes quest came out just after I had called out of work. You can imagine how wide my eyes went. Through the incredible convenience that I had to take the day off due to illness, I was able to complete and experience the most epic quest ever the same day it came out.

Bit of a magical moment to share with y'all. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (whenever it comes for you).

Cheers, cannoneers!

Merry Christmas to everyone and to Jagex!

I just want to take the time to say thank you for all you've done this year. The enthusiasm I've seen for Runescape this year was a refreshing and such a beautiful thing to see. Especially the enthusiasm I saw with the introduction of RS3. It was so great to see a game I will always hold close to come alive. When html5 comes next year, I will be overjoyed. On to 2014!

Thank you Jagex!
