Hi,

When I wear my Glad Tidings outfit, there is no "Blessing of Winter" pop-up saying its increased, but when i put a piece of festive clothing on (i.e. tinsel scarf) the pop-up comes and says "merry christmas! you have received the blessing of winter".
Bottom line - I know posts say the two cosmetic override outfits give you the blessing of winter, but should there be a message coming up saying so?

While the new cosmetic overrides such as the Frostwalker outfit, and Festive Aura have been confirmed to boost the chances of obtaining a Festive Aura. In game, they do not provide the message of " - The Blessing of the Winter effect has increased." Thus, give me suspicion that the boost may not be present. On the other note, everything a person were to log in, they would have to remove and reequip the christmas clothing in order to continue to receive the boost during the duration the player is on. I'm hoping these problems can be fixed or be given further explanation on its function. Otherwise, thank you for the wonder event this year.

The first Daily Challenge you complete and hand in each day will earn you a cracker, alongside its usual rewards. If you're busy getting stuck into the Bird and the Beast world event, never fear! For the 15 Days of Christmas, we're giving every member an additional Daily Challenge alongside their usual five, which is to earn 10,000 renown by fighting for their faction. No need to miss out!

I thought this meant that if you do 10k renown, doing a normal daily challenge is obsolete as the 10k would be the same as doing the daily challenge. On the wiki however, there are 2 seperate bulletpoints indicating that doing the special daily challenge earns you 1 in addition to the first daily of the day.

I'm assuming the wiki is authorative (and ingame above that), but you might want to clarify/edit one of the 2. My ideas dump thread

I can confirm you do get another cracker for doing an actual daily challenge after you've already claimed the Renown one.

From the Festive Cracker page on the RS Wiki:

Wearing Christmas themed items will increase the chance of crackers dropping while skilling/killing by 20% each, up to a cap of +120%. The items that count for this buff are:

Blue, green, purple, red, white and yellow partyhats;
Bobble hat and scarf;
Black Santa hat;
Candy cane;
Christmas ghost bottoms, hood and top;
Christmas tree hat;
Christmas wand;

Festive aura;
Festive jumper;
Ice amulet (2008 and 2009);
Jester hat and scarf;
Reindeer hat;
Salty claws hat;
Santa costume boots, gloves, legs, top;
Santa beard, hat and sack;
Snowball;
Tinsel scarf;
Tri-jester hat and scarf;
Woolly hat and scarf.

The following cosmetic overrides also counted, but do not give stats - the only stats come from any armour that has been covered up using the overrides):

Glad Tidings outfit
Frostwalker outfit

When I equip the Christmas Wand I do NOT receive the message stating that I have received the Blessing of Winter. I have sumbitted a bug report but was wondering if anyone else doe not receive the effect when equipping the Christmas Wand.

"Bonus" Experience in a undesired stat can ruin a skiller/pures experience safezone.

Say you are against training prayer. While training hunter you notice you have bones in your inventory (happens occasionally) and left click it rather then right click. You just buried a bone and gaind prayer experience. Lets say 45 Prayer experience.
Now 45 prayer experience isn't enough to level you to 2 prayer. But if you have this Bonus Experience from festive crackers... it would of given you 90 prayer experience.
This would of got you 2 prayer.

Lets say your a 10hper (like me) and don't train Constitution. You wanted to do a quest that requires you to kill a boss. The boss gives you 110 constitution experience. Because it takes 204 to go from 10-11 constitution you could actualy do this quest. But if you had bonus experience you could gain 220 constitution experience instead and level up!

The Same goes with all combat skills + Constitution, Prayer, and Summoning.

Just give us the option to toggle off ALL Bonus experience from the Festive crackers via a npc or something Please Fear the almighty Woo Lord ...
