My subscription is now cancelled this price increase is the last straw.
After sof promotions that are worthless unless you bye more spins, and to be told my opinion dose not matter because i'm too old (email surveys)
Have you let your compatition run this promo for you??
Looks like a good way to drive loyal players away.
Why is there no post from a jmod on the topic, are you reading the post?
do you care about the negative feeling in the post?
A reply would be nice, just to let players know you are reading all the posts

The fact that there is now an in game advantage for those who buy this package is very concerning for me.
I feel as if the monthly fee I've been paying for most of the last 7 years of my life is not good enough now. Members are supposed to have the best game play experience.
For someone like me who does not feel comfortable using a credit card online this is very frustrating as you can not buy it with membership cards.

I couldn't agree more :@

Q: Why are there no RuneCoins on the Premier Club package this year?
We looked at what players used from last years Premier packages and we did see that although some people did use up the RuneCoins which came with the package that the significant majority of players still have these left over.

We have introduced a number of options available to players on the Solomon's store available to buy with loyalty points, the most recent retro overrides as an example.
We will continue to add a number of items to the Solomon's store which you will be able to purchase with loyalty points.
Also you never know what else we have in store for next year, new auras including tier 5!

With Bonds now in game players can use their ingame wealth to convert Bonds into RuneCoins which they can use purchase those which can't be bought with loyalty points alone.

Still, all the awesome content and cosmetic items are RuneCoin-only avaiable. Bonds are nice indeed, but not all players are that wealthy to spend 10M or so in a bond worth 200 Runecoins (Which by the way, isn't much).

Why not add fewer RuneCoins instead then?
Why the rise in the price when we're getting much less?
Why flying pigs when we could of had a much awesome cosmetic gear like last year?
Why did the Paladin outfit got a FREE variation (templar) and a Solomon variation (Shadow) when it was supposed to be a unique cosmetic?

Agreed, I pay $5 a month usd gratefully because I have been a member for so long now. For me this cranks up the price $26.50 a year for practically nothing, if I want a pet, I'll train summoning or buy one through a bond, 1 squeal is not much, cosmetics are only cosmetic, and I have waaayyyyyy more loyalty points than I need right now. Boomp!

I understand that you feel it is a good deal, because you are comparing it to the yearly cost of a new membership.
For longtime members such as myself it feels like I am being penalized even more for having supported the game and enjoyed it for so long.

I don't post to the forums very often, only when an addition or change really catches my eye.

This offer seems really out of line for someone who has maintained a steady membership for over 5 years.

I mistakenly thought I was in the group that might be rewarded for extended loyalty, not severely penalized for it.

So can we get some Forum Mod response to the overwhelmingly poor reception to this package and the penalization of long time members?

Wondering when/if a Jmod will respond to any of this on the forums....

Need I say anything more?

I was willing to pay this when I played RS3 because it was a decent offer. However, I can see that RS3 is just milking cash from the players. My loyalty points are now worthless, my "exclusive" pets from last year that we would "never be able to get again" are worthless.

Considering I don't even play RS3 (just OSRS), this package is terrible. They are basically becoming private servers that reward players who donate IRL cash. RS3 is changing too unpredictably, too fast.

And it doesn't even say whether OSRS players are ensured that the membership will count for OSRS.

This is ridiculous.

Y'know, I used to back up everything RS did out of loyalty to the game, but this seriously just irritated me. A VIP world? Come on, Jagex, that's a pay-to-win situation if I ever saw one.

On top of this, with the limited amount of players playing now, Jagex should have at least closed the less populated worlds before offering this. If they had done that, this would be understandable. But come on, people..

If you want to go GWD and not get crashed, or any other boss for that matter, just pick a world with 150 people or less. This VIP world is going to have, what, a couple hundred players or more across the globe?

What the hell is the point? Opening new servers just makes it more of a pain for those of us players who don't want to throw a large chunk of money at you. Instead of doing all of this Premium crap, you guys should be working on new quests, new skills, and new things to make this game better and bring the players together. Instead, you've just given players with more money than others something else to brag about, which opens a rift. People who have it better than others can't help but rub it in other's faces.

So instead of building this community, Jagex, you're starting to tear it down. Is the money really that important? What happened to "Year of the Player"? What happened to "The players run the game!"? What happened to the Jagex we know and love?
