Having looked at a few comments made we feel that the price is both fair and offers value to those who decide to become a VIP. VIP worlds with exclusive JMod interaction, a tonne of loyalty points, an awesome in game icon & forum badge among a load of other juicy benefits, including 12 whole months of membership make all of the premier packages, not least the gold package a real valuable, cost effective package.

Few things in reply to that.
1. It may be fair to new players but for players on loyalty rate it is far more expensive than their current rate. I was willing to pay 10 euros extra last year for the package but this package will cost me 20 euros more and doesn't give more benefits then last years package.
2. 'awesome badge'? You mean annoying symbol for obnoxious people.(in my eyes)
3. 150k loyalty points is not equal to the 2k rune coins we had last year. I still have quite a lot of loyalty points saved that have no real purpose atm because the stuff I might want to buy is only available with rune coins.
4. a "normal" 12 month package is cheaper than the gold membership package. The 10 euros the gold package costs more than the "normal" membership package is simply not worth it in my eyes.

Nobody wants to pay a membership and not get full benefits! only those that pay the extra to win and aquire the extras benefit and that makes games unfair and un-enjoyable. As each account is born the same and you should have to input the same amount of effort as the next person to obtain rewards, its become ridiculous with pay to win mentality and organised profiteering via what i call the clan cheat system and its annoying avatars that stop you clicking where you would like to and lag people with low spec computers.Games are meant to be entertaining and enjoyable not a reflection of the world economy and the greed of individuals.

Mhmmm, Alright ^^' It would also be nice to have the premier club toggle icon hidden for those that don't have it :p I understand the reason for ingame advertisements for free players, but for members it is a bit different ^^'

Asking me to commit for a full year and pay more for less stuff than last year, months before The Elder Scrolls Online is out? Sheer stupidity!

Cynical attitude towards customers who complain, and even better, telling us as customers that we have to pay you extra for you to listen to us? Hilarious!

It's like you're trying to put yourselves out of your jobs.

I don't have to buy it? OK, I'll stick to my grandfathered rate, it's much cheaper, although judging by the utterly farcical and dismal updates this year's seen and the Jagex staff attitudes, I doubt I'll even bother once TES Online is out.

For Mod Infinity:
Last year when Jagex was pitching the Gold Membership we were promised access to TWO new skills, but we got only one. Now I totally understand things happen in development, but since we didn't get what we were promised are we getting some sort of refund or something to make up for you are NOT giving us what we paid for and that you promised?

Just wondering

Holy crap that is expensive as hell. I certainly won't be joining the club this year at that outrageous price. Last year it was only $75 and it included Runecoins. This year it's 86 and includes NO Runecoins? Are you off your rocker, Jagex?

I'm still locked in at $5/month, so a year for me is $60. There is certainly not enough included in that package to make me justify the extra $26.

If Jagex changes their mind and announces that they will include the 2000 Runecoins into the package, then I will purchase it immediately, even at the ridiculously high price.

Alternatively, if they offer the package for the price of 12 months of membership (this would need to be case-by-case. 12 months is $60 for me), then I would also purchase it.

As it stands, Jagex is playing a very risky card here. By not securing me for 12 more months, they are risking losing me as a player altogether at some point during the next year. Locking us in for a year at a time is a smart move, it keeps us playing even when we don't want to.

"12 months of membership."

It's much cheaper just to buy 12 months normally. Better yet, I could just buy in-game bonds and save a nickle.

"150,000 Loyalty Points."

Looks like a lot, but it's not very much. Not to mention, not everything is eligible to be bought with loyalty points.

"Premier Club-only pet: Piggles the Flying Pig." and "Premier Club-only pet: Commander Porkins."

Not a big fan of cosmetic items and pets. Seems kind of silly to me.

"One extra daily spin on Squeal of Fortune."

I don't really like the Squeal of Fortune. All it basically does is give you a bunch of junk.

"VIP world – an exclusive game world for Gold Premier Club members."

Is there really a need for this world? There are other worlds that are literally empty, and I'm not talking about the 2400 skill total worlds.

"Exclusive Q&A sessions hosted on the VIP world."

This is offered for free (well, it's included with standard membership) in RSOS. Why would I want to extra pay for something I could basically get for free?

"VIP badge (can be toggled) that appears besides your name in chat and on the forums."

With all of the other 'benefits' being less than acceptable, why would I want to brag that I bought this package? There's nothing to brag about.

"Promotional Items from 2013 and 2014, including pre-paid card cosmetic items."

Nothing good was offered in 2012 and 2013, and if 2014 is more of the same, I'm not interested in it either.

Here's my question:

With what I had stated above, why should i buy the gold package? Why should I buy any package for that matter?
