also i got a question when will the candy cane be worth something in game xmas 2009? i might sell it? good idea here make nontradeable stuff worth something even if it worth 1 coin

ps, making 1m is hard Jagex makes it sound so easy nowdays

sorry i like helping people and everything out in the world but this should not be a in game thing why not sell Raffle Tickets at Runefest or in public for these Different Charities like i doing at home for Different charities

If you can't afford it, then don't, it's not an obligation :) and there are plenty of ways to make money, look up a guide if you're unsure :P

What does this mean exactly? Hoping the well won't disappear at the end of the month.

Jagex has to have an upper limit to the amount they give to charity a year. By having a time-limit they are ensuring they are within budget.

The more interesting question will be, if they give more or less to charity than before The Well, because it's now tied to the players involvement and Jagex are free to donate only up to a percentage of that.

The Well may be(or become) less effective at raising money (as people get used to it) and the amount given may end up less year-by-year than what was normally given by the company and of course, now its charity is subsidised by additional bonds donated, making the amount out of Jagex's pockets less.

In the FAQ, the Well after will be scenery in game until they decide to reopen it.

It is rather disappointing as more charities are added the split amount gets much lower to each. It would be a lot better for people to choose to donate their full amount to their preferred charity.

Some of these charities take off a much higher margin than others, meaning much less goes to the individuals needing it. It's always good to research how your giving is actually spent.

If anyone has friends that haven't donated yet because they think they're too poor on Rs to do so, let them know there is no minimum . If you double click on the amount you want to donate while in the Well you can enter any amount you want. You can even add items into the Well, so let's get more people donating!

i help charitys all the time but this is not the way this should be Done
anyway we only got Jagex word they even give to the charitys there no prove real life you can see for yourself and it's safe there nothing says though game is safe?

it's another update what looks and feels the same as sof and sgs
and the Don't get rid of items -these items still be in runescape
the prices of lots of things just falling well bad since this update some things before but more now falling in price

and i already got a heart a don't want 2

ps i do feel so sorry for the charitys outthere but this is like a scam feels like.
not very many i seen like this so far, i feel this should not happen why most people Bullying me , ( i Get Told To learn English when i am ,learn to spell when i can , also Get Told To Not Beg when i am Not , Told Not To Troll when i Don't ) and i Don't Have many friends (why No one like Me) But This is Not Rubbish it's the Truth sadly.

Thinking of tossing all my stuff down the well. I've had my fair share of RuneScape, been here since 06. I think it's time the new community moved in. Granted, my bank is probably *2.50, but it's something. Looking at my post history in 2022 has made me realize I may have had a very minor case of serious brain damage as a kid.

i liked the idea of donating too a charity ,always great to help other people.
I alo donated a small amount af my cash even its not compareble with players who have more money,still it is for a greater cause.
But i also have an idea for this donation,
why not add something to the well so non-tradeble items can be put in it?
this means that people who dont have a lot of cash but have a lot of untradeble items also have the opportunitie to donate in the well,wich means more for the charity's and people dont has to destroy there items.i think like skill necklaces,armour and clothing wich everybody got from the WOF makes a lot of difference if the put in the well for ,say,100 gp or so.its not the amount everybody drops in it its the idea that someone can do something good with this.

the more we collect the better is my idea.
