To all of you complaining about the SoF, Stop.
SoF is a completely separate mechanic which is in no way required to play the game. If you have a problem with this update, then don't participate. Jagex is working on a ton of updates right now including multiple quest lines and more god related content, so I'm soooo sorry if all they had time for was a SoF update with the FULLY SOUNDSCAPED NEW GRANDMASTER QUEST, life must be so difficult for you all.

Only newbs will use this promotion.
The high level players use Warband for Mining/Smithing ( i have 25m mining xp and 99 Smithing)

So let Jagex earn some money, would you ?

The fact that if you don't like it you don't have to use it is completely beside the point. Other people using SoF directly affects the *entire* game. That's the first big flaw in your post.

The second is that them working on a 'ton of updates' is going to be hindered by them developing more cheap and easy cash via updates to SoF and Solomon's Store.

Money-grabbing promotions or decent, playable content like grandmaster quests?

I know which I'd rather they were spending their time on.

I can see why you wouldnt be a fan of sof, But this will actually come in handy for players who dont have the req's for the quest yet.
You know what else comes in handy? Training the actual skills instead of buying them with real life money. Crazy idea, right?


Which also takes time which not a lot have now that school has started back up...

So... Super September wasn't enough in your eyes, then?

30 days of seamlessly handed-out experience. NONE of those challenges were difficult in any way, shape or form. And to top it all off, the daily allotted experience was in a choice format!

So if someone really wanted to do an upcoming DWARF quest that was noted months ago they could use their brain and think - "Oh, maybe I should just use these hundreds of thousands of granted experience on my lacking mining/smithing skills!"

So THAT happens (yet another annoying membership promotion similar to Sizzling Summer) and then THIS happens... (yet another annoying SoF promotion overshadowing the content that comes out alongside it) and you just roll on your submissive back and defend that it's okay.

Hope you're looking forward to getting NO actual content in the future save these promotions and micro transaction additions; because at this rate with how many of you submissive, accepting, and morally blind people are in existence - that's all this game will be getting.
