Not being funny but you contradict yourself so much. How could you do this to all your loyal players after them buying the real cosmetics and then you make overrides? I supported SGS but no more. You basically are scamming your loyal players for a quick bit of cash. I buy cosmetics for you to release these.

Shame on you Jagex, What's next? You tell me...

Try to remember these items have been out for a fair old length of time; if you have the equippable versions from their initial release then you've had all that time to look elite and well ahead of the pack. :)

As far as giving out free overrides to those who already possess the originals - its a nice idea but I'm not sure how complicated that process would be or if it's even possible. I'll note it down though. :)




Players also purchased the Premier Membership, and 90 Day Membership cards with the idea in mind that these were going to be exclusive to those deals. When Jagex continues to rerelease these items, they no longer become special or 'cool'.

On another note, why is it there's another 90 day membership deal for a cosmetic override which does not include Gold Premier members? Gold Premier members have committed for an entire year, and the benefits seem to have been put to a hault. :|

It seems to me that the Gold Premier package was just an easy way to get lots of players' money for the year and lock them in. I've supported them in most updates and I personally love the SGS (cosmetic-wise). I've never felt like they've betrayed their players more than now. By the looks of it, they're just waiting for people to get over this and pretend as if nothing happened.

I'm looking forward to the slayer monster masks on Solomon's store. I haven't been able to land on one yet on the squeal. Mind you, that idea doesn't fill me with any confidence of any kind, unless Jagex thinks they can get people to buy spins and then buy the override a second time later on. I just wish they had the intestinal fortitude to stand up and talk to us, other than to say, "Hey, you were cool, now let everyone else be cool."
