LOL. They've got to be joking. Seriously! Who is in charge of this?

This is actually hilarious.. First they pull this, won't reply to anyone, and now they release another ugly non-recolourable outfit with game cards? At least they didn't call it limited edition (even though it will be, because 0.01% of players actually want it).

Being a completionist style player to an extent, I found it enjoyable to keep up with the special promotional items and buy them upon release.. Until this " EXCLUSIVE MEMBERSHIP " came out.. successfully devaluing every item i had been loyal and hunted for from store to store.

Even after this (to my standards) " EXCLUSIVE " item re-release, I did not let it get me down in spirits, because I understood that not everyone had time to obtain all of the items and I actually thought the new membership deal was a good idea.

After this most recent Solomon Store update, i see where JaGeX carries their priorities. I will no longer be spending real-life money on these nonsense updates.

Well played SGS team; You knew exactly how to destroy the game that I grew into an adult on.

The sad part is, had this recent update not happened, had they done a better job of showing support to those of us who got the new items early, I probably would have rushed out and bought a game card tomorrow, even with my gold premiere membership. Now, I just don't *now. I might get one if Jagex fixes this and gives the early adopters access to the overrides.

OH, and they have to promise not to go and re-release a recolorable version of the Skypouncer outfit. If they release that outfit in SGS, it has to remain as-is.

A better version will come out in 9 months again on SGS. I'm wondering if they'll try this again in the upcoming months (they likely already had their cards shipped out to stores, so there was no going back on it). My guess is no. If they do, we're all in for a good laugh.

There are parts of Jagex that I love, but some of them just really make bad decisions. It's frustrating and hard not to fight, especially when it involves money schemes and ripped off customers.

Mints, I really appreciate your persistence on this thread. We can't let it die down.. a mistake like this needs a spotlight on it. If we don't speak up now, we will never be heard (implying we aren't being ignored or mistaken for immature players/trolls).

Jagex really needs to realize that micropayments are a touchy subject with the player base, and an update like this only adds insult to injury.

This is pretty ordinary Jagex. Please do something to make it all better again. It makes no sense short shifting the people who have demonstrated a commitment to the game. You will only tick them off....me included. I'm not going to rant, but you do have an obligation to those that purchased premium membership et al in good faith.
