This is annoying, filling the front page for some app that I'm not interested in. And even if I was, couldn't play it anyways, as there's no Windows Phone version.

I mean, it does look like a fun game, and where else is Jagex going to advertise it?
Runescape is the only thing Jagex still has going.

(Plus money from the advertisements on the racing game will help to provide more Runescape content. Look at the bright side.)

This. Exactly this. The Runescape community has really just gone downhill, and has never really come back up. RIP Runescape. Your player base killed you. But I will keep hoping. It's not just the players fault, the negativity didn't come out of nowhere you know. Players became unhappy about certain updates and then became more unhappy and even angry at the lack of communication from mods in forums and such. And not EVERY player has the same view on this matter, so you shouldn't just say the "player base killed you" because if it wasn't for the current player base still playing, this game would actually be dead.

On topic: I agree, I dislike seeing non-runescape updates posted on the main page, however it's your site Jagex so I guess use it as you see best.

lmao at the player base killed the game comment.

Runescape was once the most popular f2p mmorpg out there, that was because of players telling their friends and their friends told their friends because it was fun. The fun that was had was slowly destroyed by marketing techniques and trying to keep up with the Jones'
