What I think people are missing is that it's still a beta. They've opened it as a sneak peak to get us excited for it while at the same time using us as beta testers. It's going to go through a thousand more changes before it gets committed to the full build. Keep making suggestions as to what they need to change, but stop just calling it outright suck.

I like the simplicity of the old runescape game. I like the mystery of not always knowing what will happen next. I even like running to most places throughout RS...because there are so many things to see along the way that help solve so many quests. Now that we have so many teleports, I feel like the newer players will miss so much. When it comes to combat it is fine to get prepared according to what monster I will fight...it is also ok to have to run and re-supply, or even die...I learn from my mistakes. I do think the BETa is ok...but too diffulcult to organize especially during combat. I hope to get used to it. I would like to see the layout on the screen made a bit simplier and the players movements smoother. I really hope we all underneath the armor look the same as we do now...please dont change the way we look!

I don't know i just got a feeling after you do this combat beta update you will have a massive player drop, like you did when wildy left, i just see this backfiring on you guys... truthfully, because i know a lot of people who said they are quitting soon as it comes out and myself will be leaving to.

Aww, I only found out about the featured events a couple of days ago. Is there ANY way to get the 1st point towards the outfit if I missed the weekend? The outfit looks really cool and it would be sooo annoying if me not being on for one weekend ruined this. Anyone know? :|

Beta have it's + and -
from the looks of it,

If they want to turn Runescape into just another MMO
They could add walking with w asd keys so the archers can walk freely avoiding Attacks while shooting arrows at same time o.O
same goes for mages
and warriors that likes to slash and stuff can walk around targets and attack the back of targets avoiding gettting hit
But yeah for all those that just love the old runescape cus it is relaxing
They might all leave and go to 06runescape website
Anyways I played runescape during 2004 and quit in maybe 3 month?(got bored clicking)
Then played again in 2010
And quit( finished all Free to play Quests)
And again in 2011 ( school was borring )
Quit( RS was more )
And back again ... can not even remember the pass or email or even user name Anymore xD
The change would basicly help runescape gain more players of 2012
Funding the game with add on s and ways to spend
But it will for sure anger more than 60% of the players that invested for a period of time
But yeah again for all those that just love the old runescape cus it helps them relax
they can all leave and go to 06runescape
