I can sympathize with both sides here. On one hand, the Squeal of Fortune itself could be used as a very positive tool. If it was not possible to buy spins and exp rewards were either removed or made far more rare I would have very little problem with it.
However, it's this blatant violation of what Jagex used to stand for that really gets me. It's very sad to look back to some of the first ever updates on this website, when each one was so personal and really relating to the community. Don't get me wrong- in general, I am very happy with the game and where it's going. However, this is just very annoying- it really shows certain members of Jagex turning from game developers out to have and give a good time into ruthless businessmen willing to ruin the experience in order to deepen their pockets. That said, I don't believe this is quite as big a deal as people make it out to be- to be fair, the rewards are generally minute and I doubt people spend that much money. It's just the principle that gets me. In general, Jagex, you're amazing. This is just one small blemish...no big deal, but a shame.
Ah well. Keep up the generally good work, listen to the community regarding Evolution of Combat (which means that, if they all hate the Action Bar or so on, you have to be ruthless and get rid of it!), try to speed up the production of quests people are truly eager for like Zaros, Dragonkin etc. and don't go too overboard with bosses and I'm sure it'll be fine :D

Seriously Jagex? Now you are advertising the selling of levels and making it even more exp for people to buy?
You banned all the bots just for a while so that you could come out with SoF and have no competition, all the while under the false pretense that botting and RWT was an "unfair advantage." And then you start doing the EXACT same thing, in principle, by selling experience for real world money. Now the bots are back, and you don't do anything about that again because hey, mo' money in your pocket.
I will not play a game where anyone walking around with the best items and the most money and the most experience could just be someone who maxed their parents credit card out spending $200 a day on your spins.
I am 11 levels from max cape and have been playing for over 10 years 320 DAYS play time. Once I get my max cape and my membership runs out, i'm leaving this game forever because you, Jagex, no longer care about the integrity of this game, only fiscal gains.
