@Edrude Firstly, I would like to say that I agree with your attitude towards the loud minority that are incredibly anti-constructive in their feedback and complaints. All of these minorities are the quickest to respond and the most likely to respond. I have never seen such a sad butt-hurt fan-base in any other game. These people are kind of like the sports fans that support their team only when they are winning, and then they disown them when they mess up. However, speaking of making up data, 198mil accounts is not near an accurate estimate of the current active players. That number is for all the years ever. I'm willing to bet that the current active player base at the moment is under 5mil, and I think that is being generous. That's of course just a guess, based upon the average less than 200 thousand members I usually see playing at any given time. Even if my estimate of 5mil is way lower than the truth (which it very well could be) I do know the current player base is nowhere near 198mil, and many people have multiple accounts, including macro bot accounts running programs to auto-skill. Maybe they accounted for the bots, I don't know. But yes, I am hoping that the loud minority is indeed the minority, because if not, we have a sad, sad fan-base on hour hands. I for one am fine with the fortune wheel, but I am against Real World Trading, and I dislike how the company is breaking their own rules with that by selling spins. All it is is Real World Trade through gambling. But it is annoying how people will state their opinion and claim everyone else's is the same. Like the combat beta for instance: on the forums I usually see about 10 positive comments to every negative, but the negatives almost always say "Jagex you are ruining the game. Noone wants this new combat crap. I'm quitting, then you'll be sorry." Well, the majority seems to like the new combat, including myself, and if people are going to rage-quit, I think the others will fill in for them.

I love this game so much and I play since 2007 and I don't want to quit it, because for me it is a great way to spend some of my free time. Don't make me quit with these crappy SOF stuff etc. I don't care about it being in-game, but what really is very bad is that you give people ability to buy spins. Please stop it!

@ zavr Precisely my sentiment. But I'm not going to quit until it's not fun anymore. As much as I hate the spin-buying, I'm still going to play. And if the combat beta sucks enough when released to the point where it isn't fun anymore, then I'll stop playing. But I don't see that happening.

Jagex can go burn in hell. They don't even listen to the players from 2007 and earlier. No f*cks given by Jagex at anytime. Woop** ****** doo.
Jagex logic: They all hate these updates, but we don't give a damn about them, we're in it for the money, until Runescape dies, i'm making money off of unloyal players. Yayyyy! I'm in the business :D

@Argon TFF and others,
You should realize that by antagonizing each other, that doesn't do anything to negate the tension of the SoF. JAGEX wants constructive feedback; bickering back and forth is not what they want to hear, much less so than SoF hate or worship.
You should use logic and reason for your arguments rather than throwing insults and hostilities back and forth.

Please just stop trying Jagex. If you really listened to your players you would have removed this very useless and crappy feature.
And if it isn't your decision what happens anymore, then tell us who is. These supposed American private investigators we've been hearing about; who are they? What rights do they have over your company? That's what I'd like to know.
