Looks like some great work being done here! It looks totally amazing! I am sure the bots will enjoy it, sadly that is the main inhabitant of Al Kharid.
I hope some new good content is added to the area to make it worth going to again so the wonderful work of the graphics team who did this doesn't go to waste.
A few ideas that would bring real players to Al Kharid: a better way to tan hides that gives experience, more cactus spines, a thieving activity of some sort (dangerous please! bring back risk reward in rs plz?)
Nice cosmetic update, hopefully some real content to add to it will not be far behind.

Woohoo! Al Karid looked absolutely splendid in the bits and pieces that were revealed. I can't wait to see the full update. It's been the same for so long, and a fresh lick of paint should definitely spark new interest in the environment.
I find it cool how you guys develop the characters. It's like playing The Sims 3, but you get paid

Wow... Al Kharid already looks pretty good, but this tops it well and truly!
It's amazing :o I really am looking forward to seeing this graphical update in game!

Also, I wasn't sure about what Piso said about the feeling that was trying to be conveyed. What type of city?
I'm also looking forward to the quest that will complement the update. I really do hope it has voice acting in it as well :p
