seems okay.. cosmetic items = stupid (no one cares)
Already there is way 2 much cosmetic items in game.. every month more more more cosmetics. 90% of community prolly doesnt care ne more for more cosmetics.
Now the scarecrow mask should be the comsmetic item for this event, but we have to pay extra on redeeming game cards for this. This is a waste of time and a little more expensive. Best wishes to all.

This event is gonna be crap (sorry to say jagex).
Reasons-
-It's too similar to the Easter event 2012. That was literally the worst holiday event that I have every played.
-It doesn't look like the Grim Reaper or Pumpkin Pete will be there. If they're not then players will lose holiday spirit, just like when the Easter Bunny wasn't in the last Easter event.
-People like puzzles and actual quests. This just looks stupid.
-The rewards look dumb, and are in no way related to halloween. I really hope there are some other rewards.
P.S. Please don't ruin Christmas this year too.

At around 2:24 in the video, he mentions huge prayer experience to be gained.
Is there anyway to AVOID receiving the experience yet still participate and receive the rewards?
I asked Mod Mike in-game at the Grand Exchange in world 1 this question and he said there will be no combat experience gained during the Halloween Event, and I think this might be the best place to ask that question to get a clear answer.
Because I would really love to participate, no doubt about it, but I don't think ruining a five year level 3 account would be worth it.
