whats the point of double xp wekeend if its all double slower coz of lag ?

If i try hard, I can still remember time when jagex took care about their own players and made extra support to servers to avoid lag no matter how many ppl logged in... sad. i think we all just skill patience this weekend @.o .. eternal running over "deep mud" - that was double xp weekend if u trained dung.

oh and ... whats the point of getting sweets on sof if we cant share them with friends ? @.o something I will never understand really O_o

While the video was informative, it was pretty much useless because of the lag and the 'your account hasn't logged out' messages.
Instead of double xp being a treat, it ended up being a trick.
My Calquat Tree still hasn't grown after 24 hrs and my fruit trees took most of 24hrs to grow. So I ended up getting the same amount of xp overall, i guess, and saved the seeds.
I know this wasn't intentional, but it was the reality of it. Don't you guys have any IT guys working on the weekend? Or are they in India?
But thank you anyways for trying with the video. I hated to post a rant here since you tried, but figured it would be the only place it might get looked at.
And for future reference. I use the Runescape Toolbar that you guys supply. The Behind the Scenes and the Scary Bonus weekend messages didn't post till after the weekend was over, so for those of us using the Toolbar, we didn't know there was a Video till it was too late

There were some, I don't know how many, people that died during the bonus weekend because they tried to work slayer and between the lag and the logging out and the not being able to log back in, lost their armor and everything.
I don't know if there is a way, but if there is, can you guys give them back their stuff since the bonus weekend was the culprit in them dieing?

I'm on a fast 150Mbit/s line in both directions, I know my computers and have no problems in them. I was also looking forward to this weekend and planned to do some levels. First I couldn't log in. Then when I could it lagged as hard as I couldn't stand it. Also I had no sound the first day at least. I just did 30k XP because of this ...
