the way i see it jagex was accepting 60k accounts for beta right. think of amout of players online at once and then how many are bots , seeing as bot nuke dy we had very small population on at once.
for a vetren who played for 5 years one would think they were a member 12 months in a row. yea the older player player longer but not as steady as some one who played for 12 months of membership
my problem with the beta is you dont keep the xp during beta, i think there should be 2 betas one with the free armour where you get no xp and another beta where you play the game like normal and keep your xp or get a xp reduction
im not going to do game testing for free, i would like to be a qa someday but im not doing it for free lol, not like i cant put this on my resume, use the money you make from bots to pay for a QA, or give us xp for doing the beta so we not wasting our time working for free

50,000 picked and my main wasn't one (134cb) and i'm 12 month continuous membership this month (july) also started runescape in 2004 and all i'm doing is waiting for the weekend to play the beta (I played 10 hours+ each day on the beta weekend because I loved it and it was so fun, why wouldn't you give me full access...).
I feel so left out as i've played this game half my life and I didn't get full access.
Like 1/10 of the accounts chosen only play it, why can't you add more players to the beta by sending emails again to another bunch of people that registered.

Well, this is a bit dumb. I agree with that guy that at least 12 consecutive months was the best idea. If 50,000 players were chosen on activeness I guarantee half were bots lol, on the other hand I think I should have been chosen because I play for like 8 hours or more every day. Oh and please Jagex, Change the log in message from saying 6th of July to closed to general public it would make much more sense. BTW I love you Jagex :D
