two things once again i know you need to make the changes in some of the specific items in terms of combat bonuses but change the bonuses and translate them into the ones that we have now like for instance in the beta a 90 strength bonus might be translated as 900 and a change to 100 would be 1000 just keep it 100 and also in terms of this topic the CLS aned CR dont make them the same whats the point of that pfft their supposed to be unique. and once again if your going to translate all of the special attacks into abilities thats so frie** stupid just keep them the same where there is a bar to click to utalize a special attack and another thing i know it looks like the godswords are not going to have a special attack but please keep the special attack and lastly the fighting styles also keep the type and kind of weapons unique please allow the fighting styles to stay especially the godswords
also the combat stance in combat looks a little weird keep it the same as normal

Ok heres my feedback from the beta, 1st of all, shield abilities seem a little overpowered to me, Ive fought a ton of people with shields using duel wielding and 2h weapons and no matter what i try the person with the shield always wins. Also when i use a shield i can beat people several levels higher than me and when i'm facing another person with a shield a lot of times the fight lasts until the duel times itself out. Other than that combat seems to be a lot more balanced than before, which is good.

I have trained on the beta servers a cpl of times now. I really like what i have seen. The new abilities on the rage bar seem to have changed the game. It allows you to mix and match abilities, and enhances the whole combat area of the game. I would like to see some material added for prayer levels, possibly to create healer classes of mage and melee. I think it will enhance the way how ppl play the game as groups, since the ability to tank and dps have changed greatly in a positive way. I have not tried much hybrid training, but hope to mix melee and range soon. I generally stick to creatures in the game which i have trained on b4, so I can make i good comparison.
I also like the idea of beta servers in general, since it helps the developers debug and test ideas in a controlled environment, before releasing it to the main game servers.

i know it doesnt look like the preious dragobn claws special attack as well as all of the special attacks as we know it well be leaving us all i ask is that they stay please and especially the godswords again and the dragon claws special attack is what makes it a good weapon taking that away would make it a piece of **** and making an adrenaline bar is cool but is kinda stupid why cant there be an ability nook and a magic book (the magic book having the previous before beta features)

Jagex, I LOVE everything you've done with the Combat Beta!
I am strongly working to be more involved with the RuneScape community.
I have to agree with some people on some things though.
I feel like the GodSwords should be the only weapons to keep their special attacks.
Although with the remake of the combat system, they seem pretty powerful still.
I did find one bug while playing in Varrock Palace.
A friend of mine was using magic on the prisoner behind the stairs, and he used a melee ability and hit him through the gate.
I believe he reported the bug, and if not I have footage of it.
I have to say, when I first saw the remake, I was not pleased.
As I worked into it and learned more about how it works, I am thrilled!
One thing I have an issue with is the Sheathing and Unsheathing of weapons.
Is there a way to do this without a Number Pad? My laptop's keyboard doesn't have a number pad. I've tried just about everything, and just can't do it.
This feature should be available to all players, with and without a number pad.
Jagex, keep up the outstanding work!

So just a little question... Why dont prayers work anymore??????? I was at the KBD and I was getting OWNED with the mage EVEN though my mage protect was activated.. and the KQ also has this thing where you used to be ble to hit on his second form with melee but now it has no affect... whats up with this jagex???

I have mixed feelings about the beta. I really like some of the features, like assigning keys to different things, Love the duel weapons. There is one thing that is a cause for concern though and have seen others with same issue. The strength of NPCs vs what damage they do. Example, going to Bando's and getting your 40 kills to go into Bandos room. Under current play, getting the 40 KC is pretty easy, as it should be considering the lvl of the NPC vs the average player going to Bandos. In the Beta, It took most of my brews just to get the 40 I needed. Now we are talking EXTREMELY low lvl NPCs here. Something isn't right here. I have noticed this against other NPCs also. I was using their weakness and still getting owned by NPCs 50 lvls or more below me. What gives?
