Stop repeating Jagex's unfounded opinion that it did not take skill to fight in PVP before, now it's just spam clicking so grow a brain you ******* moron.
@hax0rus Oi i didnt say in a row u derp! in total i've been a member for 6+ years and have been playing for 7+ years... but cerialy jagex wtfh i bet tons of people made like 10+ accounts and at least 3 or more of them would of got in the beta so one guy has taken 3 spots up which leaves less room for the rest of us to get in so...jagex if your reading this atm- please next time if you do something like this again, try a different method that dosnt bull **** the players that actualy deserve acess.......
I know the new restrictions on getting xp from monster that are 10 or so lvls lower than you are to encourage people to fight the stronger monster but i don't think it's fair.
I am currently combat lvl 179 and i have been assigned Steel Dragons as a slayer assignment which are lvl 154. These monsters are not easy at the best of times but now due to the xp restrictions i have to fight 100 or so of these hard monsters only to gain xp in slayer.
So I have to suggestions,
1) make it so that slayer monsters you are assigned you still get combat xp from
and/or
2) adjust the combat lvl of the monsters to better represent the new combat equation us player are under.
Okay well I've been checking out the beta and I've noticed something that i really hope is just a glitch. We don't get xp until after the kill, this has to be some sort of glitch because that is just plain bull if it isn't. It will make thing not worth killing unless you can defeat it. that and as well as if will make people lean toward killing much weaker things such as 31 level below them for maximum xp rates. Which in turn just destroys the idea for making people want to fight things their own level. That and as well as when maging it will be pointless to do it because your just wasting runes then because you wont get the xp until after u get a kill.... So please fix this for the sake of the game because this is highly upsetting and it is really messing up my experience of the game and making me think really badly about the combat rework and if I don't not like something enough about the update you will be sure to lose another member and as such I've been loyal for over ten years, so i hope that counts for something when deciding the future of the game. Becoming very unpleasing about this update.
Also the new "ability Book" lay-out sucks ... sorry but it does can we at least have the option to just have little pictures like with the mage book. Also the game ticks/lag between pressing high alch and then clicking on an item has been increased, i used to be able to press the '+' key on the mouse pad to dubble click i can't do this anymore
i
i'm watching my friend play the beta, and i have a good idea. why not make some that give you certain abilities. like a canifis quest giving you the ability to transform into a werewolf which temporally boosts some of your stats and you use claws. same thing can be done for vampires, or just an old arena champion giving you a cool move. me, personally, would love being a werewolf.
The new charater graphical update is okay, I really love the fingers.
But I think the female charaters are just slightly creepy, especially in the face and their arms look way too skiny. The males facial features make them look older. I dont like the muscular arms either really, I have the regular arms selected for my sleeves and if I wanted the 'beefyness' I would have gone with the muscle bound.
Your health should increase while you're within the city walls. Putting on new armour before going into battle means that you either have to eat several pieces of food or just wait for your health to restore, which would take several hours if it stays at the formual now. Having your health restore at a faster rate while you're not engaged in combat or while in a safe zone would be benificial.
first things first, great job on the combat evolution! very awesome battle stance and animations. love the dual-wielding, makes battles alot more faster. i find the abilities very useful and interesting. however, the magic and range abilities are too little. i think it's only fair that magic and range should have the same amount of abilities as that of melee's.
secondly, the ability book layout is a little confusing. it's good that if there's options to sort out abilities by their adrenaline level (eg. basic abilities are grouped together and so on..).
thirdly, i disagree on the armour lifepoint bonus due to the fact that it waste loads of food. we shouldn't have to eat to fill up our lifepoints everytime we equip armours, just make it such that the lifepoints auto-fill itself according to how much bonus there is upon equipping the armour.
lastly, i think it's unnecessary that crossbows have to be powerful enough to fire high-level ammunitions.
overall, i think it's an awesome update and i look forward to the release.
thank you
