To be honest I never liked the idea of one chance opportunity items, it's sort of like untradable party hats, sooner or later to many people will be jealous.
BUT, unlike with the katanas and zombies skin color, this sounds like something interesting. Plus my membership is about to expire so I might actually get one. I also understand where you're coming from Jagex. Not enough people buy it from stores, and since you want to keep the cards in stores, and keep the opportunity for those couple of people who can only pay by these cards, this is a good solution.
I guess I'm gonna get a new avatar!
EDIT: Lol, sucks for people I see, but my store is like 10 blocks away, and its the only one in the city. Good for me

And what about us who have our credit card billed every month? Are we not just as worthy enough to be rewarded with items such as these? Why is it that only people who buy a card get rewarded when we have been showing our support every month. I just don't see how this is exactly fair.
