Ermm... Linux support Jagex?
You mentionned it would work on Mac... but... Linux?!
The bestiary already doesn't work on most (if not all) nVidia GPUs + Linux
(and some Legacy AMD GPUs too!)
Trying to get informations, but we never get answers.

i would love for it to work on linux as that is the only system i use.
and i know the bestiary works on linux systems with intel cards(after the latest bestiary update) so the incompatibility is not for linux itself... it still do not work for nvidia or older amd/ati cards. I really hope that issue gets fixed soon God/Protector of the Penguins.

HTML5 stuffs works good for everything but RuneScape... wat.

I don't know if I've been selected or not because Jagex still hasn't replied to me about switching my emails, as my old one I used to register this account all those years ago is deleted!

It's been a month and still no reply from jagex at all, so I guess I wont ever get my email changed, especially to see if I was invited or not. :/

Is the email just to inform you that you have been accepted as a beta tester or do you have to access the beta through the email you give us?

Thanks for answering my question! I agree that the idea of seeing massive cities and sprawling forests is great, but I'm concerned with places like southern Asgarnia, the Troll Warzone (which is meant to be TWO towns by the way, not one) and north of Ardougne, where the start of The World Wakes, the Legend's Guild, Ardy farming patch, and the Temple of Ikov are all crammed really close together. I make more details on expanding the game world Here

Also, I don't see a reason for there not to be a client. I don't know the technical limitations of html5, but I'd really like to see a client made. I'm just a man; I'm not a hero.

As said in the video, the invites will be sent out by e-mail on the day of release (Tomorrow/Wednesday 17th). What about all those people that say they have received "legit" emails from a source claiming to be Jagex? Are they real? Are the invites being sent out early? or is it just another phishing scam?

That's actually a good reason why they shouldn't have been sent by e-mail but rather by the Message Centre. It's practically giving scammers an opportunity to fool a great deal of players that are looking forward to being given a chance to play the beta.

I'm really excited about this though and I can't wait to experience it! "Let them Bake Pie"

I was really dissapointed to hear that there would not be a downloadable client for HTML5 at the final release of it. i really enjoy having that shortcut on my destkop to an acctual client like all my other games. got more space and it feels more open like a game should. because then i wont have to look at my bookmarks and so on. please make a downloadable client, it runs better , looks better and feels more like a "real" game.
