Sweet! I can't wait for this. At least Gold and Silver club members get first priority over the betas. I was wondering: What is the actual minimum and recommended system requirements to run the HTML5 beta? I know that I could run Runescape on max since I never had problems other than having a ton of people and the game lagging a bit with the frames. I don't think FPS would be around 120 FPS - maybe more like 60 FPS. Most games do achieve that frame.

Hi Chozo ,

Quoting from the RuneScape 3 Beta FAQ :

"We will send an e-mail to those who obtain early access prior to the launch of the Beta or Alpha. Please make sure you have an up to date email validated on your account."

As said in the video, the invites will be sent out by e-mail on the day of release (Tomorrow/Wednesday 17th). What about all those people that say they have received "legit" emails from a source claiming to be Jagex? Are they real? Are the invites being sent out early? or is it just another phishing scam?

Any particular reason for not giving RS3 it's own game client to download?

I get during beta to not create it's own client download but the way they say it to me makes it sound like even once HTML 5 is released the downloadable game client won't be updated to that.

Why? I love the game client. It seems to run better then off the browser and I don't have to worry about downloading java to play it. I'm a big entropy fan.
