@Looney352 - I didn't mean it gave them the right to rant, but even those that read the forums rant. I played for two years on my other account and never read a forum one, but didn't run around running down RuneScape, J mods, P mods or other players. And I think I had every right to play and not read the forums or announcements or anything else except the rules that RuneScape has in place for while I play.

I personally would like to see more positive posts or constructive criticism posts instead of rants, name calling and cussing. But there are those can't figure that out, but want to have a 'presence' on the forums, so that is what they do. I can't control them, but can play the game fairly, ethically and according to Jagex rules and be a good player.

Since joining a clan, moving up in ranks and becoming a clan owner, I find the forums and announcements beneficial for my clan members so read. But I still don't rant or run anyone down.

Second of all, I just saw one of the most stupid comment in that video and I quote... 'I wish you treated your customers like you treat the press'. Why would Jagex do that when Runescape's community is one of the WORST? (it's not your fault, Jagex)

Aaaaand no, i'm not kissing Jagex's -censored-, it's the sad FACT, Runescape's community is literally one of the worst, over half of the threads/posts/comments is filled with hate... If you don't like Runescape THEN WHY DO YOU PLAY IT?

Actually, I find that people caring enough to voice their frustrations with the game in the forums to be a heartening sign that they LOVE the game. If they didn't love or even like Runescape, why would they bother to post in the forums? And yes there is some (okay, in some cases a lot of) vitriol, but that's also a promising sign that they are *passionate* about the game. Nothing can inspire more passion and more hate than something or someone you love.

And to be honest, as Mark Gerhard himself noted, Jagex's communication has not been the best it could be, and it's also heartening to hear him acknowledge that and promise to work on it being better. Nothing is more frustrating than to pour your heart into suggestions, questions and complaints about something you care about just to be ignored. (Hint: still waiting on my request for a mod response to whether the starborn diamonds can be turned in for xp and are just glitched, or if they designed it that way and just forgot to stop them accruing to accounts past what was needed for the three weapons, making the extras received useless. That being a time-sensitive question, and all that, very frustrating indeed.) Sure not all suggestions and complaints can be implemented/addressed, but an acknowledgement and stated reason why they can't be would go a long way to preventing player frustration. So it's not fair to say it's not Jagex's fault. Patience only goes so far... My motto is to be nice if I can, but also to not suffer trolls.

I don't give 2 hoots about RS3 we've had EOC for about 6 months
now and that don't work properly then they bring out yet another
version before the previous is up and running as it should be.
Did they mention how they are alienating players by SOF and SGS
and losing players every day with their backdoor RWT microtransactions
i think not.as for their promises thats just laughable they've broken more
than they've kept even FMods are against their SOF updates and lack
of majoir game updates.
Runescape is now PAY TO PAY NOT PAY TO PLAY. .And now the end is near its time to raise the final curtain.
Regrets i have a few, but i did it my way.

I hate it when J-mods comment on forums saying things like "wow! im looking forward to this" or "This update is rad!" its like..you're a J-mod..you work AT Jagex headquarters, you already know what's up. don't act like you're just another player who's oblivious to Jagex's plans.
