You tell em Cinderlynn! hehe the followers of the empty lord know nothing for their skulls are empty as well muhahaha :P I really didn't expect 90 ranged weaps but with bosses introduced its expected to have decent rewards. Very nice hope a lvl75 longbow has been hidden in there. Perhaps parts of it may drop off the regular mage using monsters or dropped as a whole. O_o

Well Guthix's memories said he knew about the artefacts as soon as he arrived here so yeah...

You are right Vampyres etc were brought by other people however Guthix brought at least 6 intelligent species and also allowed the elves in. He also brought sheep.

You are probably right about all the gods being a bit stereotypical but it is a bit unfair to group them all together as has been done.

I just cannot look kindly on a god that has started on a path if vengeance, regretted it then took the easy way out by putting the task if protecting the world on somebody else just because they can't live with themselves.

Just my views on Guthix though I do not think him all bad. I understand the loss of his race and daughter are horrifying but he is not the saint some people claim him to be.

He may have known they were there but he may not have know what they were capable of at the time! And you don't have to follow him!Guthix stated constantly that he never wanted to be worshiped! His becoming a god was a coincidence he was just trying to get rid of skargaroth! And saradomin isn't a saint either though he likes everyone to think he is!Guthix has never claimed to be a saint or that he wanted to view as a god! His followers did that

You cant fault him for his mortal mistakes that he took with him to his godly state. Sure his body was made a god but he still had a mortals mind and that affected his behavior. Such as his feeling with regret, sorrow, vengeance, while a lot of the other gods who where never mortal wouldn't or couldn't even relate to the masses on gielinor cause most are mortal a.k.a. the players. ;) Other gods that didn't start out gods and had a similar path as guthix also share mortal traits a.k.a feelings which affect the way they behaved in the past zammy for example engulfed in anger or madness in the wildy for he was mortal also and shortly before all that destruction. Basically a "real God" could never relate to us if they were never mortal to begin with but only can learn from us. ^_^

The guardian is concerning too though. While most guardians are fine, Juna, guards the tears, Fiara, guards the fist, Cres guarded Guthix, Valluta guarded the world against invaders, the player guards the world against gods.

Death however guards nothing and his function seems pointless since death happened before he was appointed plus Icthlarin deals with all the souls and he doesn't seem to guard anything just a strange guardian who is kind of cool but rather strange.

Also the removal of the balance elemental as a guardian as ridiculous he guarded the most important of all things.

I hope this guardian guards something important.

I always thought about their being a dead guardian too one who guarded certain ore created by the soj it would make sense that Drakan killed that one.
I could not agree more with this part.

Agreed Saradomin is certainly not a saint and Guthix could be justifiably angry with him it is some of his more enerak views that annoy me.

@Mithril as far as we know only one of the young gods may not have been mortal ever so yeah... That would be Saradomin but we are unsure if if he is telling the truth for obvious reasons.

Guthix wanted balance, peace, no gods... he did not seek revenge in his religion. When he and his daughter were the last surviving... he did nothing vengeful, only when his daughter was crushed, he broke.

He was probable naive and mistaking to not seal Gielinor from other gods. But you can't really blame him for setting Gielinor for destruction and god wars. He invited Seren, he did not want the others. He banished them as soon as he realized it. When he was woken again... he thought he had utterly failed and lost everything he loved adn worked for
(his people, his family, his daughter, his friend/lover Seren, his perfect Gielinor, the races he loves and introduced to Gielinor, probably even more...)
I can well understand he thought it was his fault even. Seeing dying the only option to save what is left of Gielinor.

I can well understand that.. I think he was mistaken... but I do not blame him, I pity and mourn him - just as I mourn the beautiful planet Gielinor that has been mutilated by the previous god wars.
