IT'S SIMPLE. If you don't like the spins then don't spin the wheel. Haters gonna hate. And btw it's not RWT. Some guy tried suing Jagex for breaking gambling laws but this is not the case as it's perfectly legal. I don't get the problem, why do you hate it? 99,99% of you probably don't even know what you're talking about.

You miss the point, deary. The SOF adverts are everywhere including the front page and its not just about the SOF but the whole marketing bs thats been happening. SOF is an easy, demonstrable target about how Jagex has changed against their own stances and continue to do so.
Also, as for the guy suing jagex about it being gambling, saying it all of a sudden isnt gambling just because of one case (that you refused to cite in any way) is awful layman assumption. It IS gambling in many countries, because of how gambling is worded. I do believe its Korea or Japan that are looking into whether the SOF counts as gambling, I may be wrong, but a little google couldnt hurt you, next time you want to spout drivel on the forums :3
also 99.9% of statistics you pull out from your rear end is false.

Say thanks to your fellow players.
The reason they have chosen to do this is because there is solid proof that players are still buying spins. So, look to your fellow players that have bought spins and rant to them.
Flower games is proof that players do like to gamble regardless of winning something every time or losing any certain amount of GP. Have to give thanks to those whom host them too, for showing Jagex this true player info.
I have seen several post on players spending Irl $$ just to gain items on the wheel.
Now, by demand of the players buying gold from the gold farm sites > or else they would not exist > Jagex might as well have a chance at it for a short while too.
If players do decide to buy spins just for this chance to gain 200mil GP, then the players then make the decision for Jagex to go ahead and sell GP.
Where there is demand - there is someone willing to supply it.
So, thank you fellow players for allowing such things to exist. :@

Why doesn't Jagex realize that that SoF will not boost their long term profits? The community obviously doesn't appreciate it and thus, users are less likely to purchase or renew memberships. In other words, customer attrition. Should a trend of attrition form, Runescape would effectively become irrelevant.
*sigh*
It kills me to see a fun game and a profitable venture fall to poorly thought out attempts at expansion.

This whole game is Illuminati anyway...whoever bought the rights to this game is so corrupted its unbelievable. Ever since the takeover, occult symbolism and very bad updates has been a trademark for this game.
Anyone else noticed the symbolisms everywhere in this game?
They will never listen to you guys, just quit.
I am a completionist, so these words don't come cheap.
