Actually not hugely keen on the winning monster. It is essentially a hill giant with a long neck, a mask and three thalidomide limbs. Malice also to me does not look like it would suit an underground quest. The Cave Myzon would have been my choice. And wouldn't it have been even more the Year of the Players if Jagex whittled the entries down to five and then let the players choose?
Just like how chaos dwarves are nothing more than normal dwarves brainwashed. It looks like a Hill Giant? Perhaps that's exactly what it is- a Hill Giant converted by the Red Axe for their needs. It works well within the mythos. And it's freaky as all hell.
Just a quick heads up, you spelt my name wrong in the runners up
Otherwise, congrats to the winners though! I'm certainly happy with the chaos druid leader winner considering our similar descriptions of them seeing Zamorak as the true face of a nature god

That new npc looks so sinister...I love it!
Can't wait to see (and possibly slay) that new boss ingame.
I like things. Combat-related things. I don't like Brains...but I still got them on dxp(
Wow. Totally blown away by the winners and all the runners up. And is it just me, or is the Cave Myzon's musculoskeletal structure specifically built for swinging down from cave ceilings like a pendulum?
Also, was the Ikadia artwork made by Athonen as well? I remember there being a lot of confusion on whether the competition was for artwork, description, or both.
