Lol. Every new thing that comes out on EOC Rs makes me happier to spend time in Old School, the GOOD game! All they do is throw more junk at us, both on the SOF and everywhere else, too. They never fix any of the really big problems, such as the fact that herb lore and runecrafting were made completely useless by the EOC. Also, there are the horrible loading/lagging times, that make the game often completely unplayable. And when we complain, all they do is throw more armor at us, or more xp for doing nothing much at all, or more crap for SOF and Solomons. No wonder they're trumpeting the fact that the quest is an 'old school' type quest. Why? Because the Old School quests are actually good! Many of the newer quests are pure crap, with stupid rewards and silly story lines. They are obviously just thrown together hurriedly, so that the quest cape fools will have another quest to finish before they can wear their cape again. And oh, gee golly, another hard boss. I'd find that totally exciting - if I was a 14 yr old boy! But since I'm not...I couldn't care less if I tried. Every update lately has just made the game worse and worse, with no end in sight.

Kind of ironic that you mention that in the BTS that announces a new use for runecrafting...

This month actually looks pretty good. Only problem is its not a good time to move up to tier 90 armor yet, ports only just came out this year.
Other than that can't wait for vorago and the new quest and the announcement about rs3

Here's a question for you, Jmods:

You didn't overlook the fact that most pets are untradeable for a boss that needs to be killed in a large group, did you? Is the pet actually going to DROP if I do the boss in a group of friends with Coinshare/Lootshare enabled?

And the materials to make the new level 90 Armor better not be untradeable as well, because then the same problems are faced.

I can see this being overlooked. I can also see this post being ignored by a Jmod and they'll post something like, "Cool BTS!" instead.

They don't overlook the negative criticism, they just may read it and move on. They don't have to reply to it at all.

The bashing posts are obviously coming from seasoned games developers who know everything and anything to do with making content such as quests, fixes, and so much more. I don't see why there is so much bashing, to be honest - sure, it may not be as lively as a month as it could be for some, but they are dishing out new content and it is fairly nice.

I happen to always be looking forward to new quests, so this bacon-witted one on the horizon should be exciting for me :) . The rest of the BTS sounds quite interesting as well, though for Vorago in particular I suspect I will have quite a journey ahead to prepare for. Just your friendly neighborhood team player.

We definitely do not need new magic armour. Too many updates regarding higher tier gear this year, it has got to stop! There will never be any balance if you keep doing these piecewise additions to the combat triangle. A tier 90 magic weapon is appreciated, however. Virtus is practically worthless now, and seasinger's reign lasted barely 3 quarters. The RS economy is going to be in shambles if this continues.

I agree with the mage armour - we already have gano, virtus and seasinger - more high level magic armour is overkill. Some balance would be GREAT.
Well said. Pop already released a bunch of high level armour. With lv 90 armour, it's going to ruin the economy. As usual, the rich could afford it while everyone else gets poorer.
