I am seriously thinking about just starting over completely with a new character on the date of release. After all not much is left of what this character explored and learned. I will miss her, but do wonder if anyone else is thinking of starting over again?

I cant wait for rs3 to come out it going to be fun just bought a 5000$ gameing computer for it so i can run it at it best :) good job jagex we need this update

And no word of open beta access for 'the rest of us'?

We've been patient, but apparently what we think of it doesn't matter much, despite we being your paying customers too. You're certainly not going to have much time to act on anything else that might crop up, even if you were to open beta today.

No But its another one of Jagex Lies. They said they would have a open beta for all Rs members before the launch of Rs3. A open beta for HTML 5 which I want to see for myself. But of course with Jagex its lie after Lie after Lie. First they do a poll for Runefest and the majority of players voted for it to being in Nyc and they lied and still holding it in England. They lied about cutting back on Sof and Sol garbage and it seems they have lied about having a open beta for all Rs members for HTMl 5 beta also they lied about combing both before launch so that we can see what both of them look like

The Lies keep on coming and at this rate I might Just Quit once Rs3 launchs because honesty I am tired of all their lies that they spat out daily Curse Combatants

Legacies, obviously the answer to your question is yes. On a side note for the people who think this update is too soon, I beg to differ. What better way to figure out problems that couldn't be found in the beta than releasing the content entirely and fixing them as the game goes on? IMO, it'll be fine. I can't wait to see what it's all about.

Will our Runescape 2 characters be transferred over to Runescape 3? If not, then I don't see much of a point of all this new Runescape 2 content. You keep everything as it is now.

Thought about it, but really after seven years of mostly downhill (especially in the last 3), I think for me if this doesn't work, it is just going to be time to throw in the towel. I'm tired of trying to save something of what was my first and favorite MMORPG experience. I love OS, but that's quickly being destroyed as well, and I don't have the time to try to get back where my character was on 19 November 2012 in terms of game progression.
