I've already posted back on pg 42 but I guess I'll post again since some people may not read all the posts.
First of all, F2P or P2P?
Both! HTML5 RS3 is only a platform for the delivery of the content, the actual content itself, like quests, locations and items, are F2P or P2P just like they are now. Nothing changes in that respect.
Second, using Chrome as browser.
IE 8,9 or 10 with Java - You can play RS3
Firefox with Java - you can play RS3
Any other browser with java - you can play RS3
Chrome - You can play RS3 but due to it's support of HTML5 it'll look better
HTML5 is a web development technology that covers a lot of different aspects. Chrome merely supports those aspects that are required for the HTML5 version of RS3 better than the other browsers. At some point all the browsers will be able to play RS3 without Java but that is dependent on the actual browser developer, be it Microsoft, Mozilla or any other one, actually making their browser use the features of HTML5. You can't blame Jagex for wanting to take advantage of the latest web development language in order to be able to develop their business.
If you don't like Chrome you can use another browser, you just have to use a java client just like you do now and you won't get the better graphics and functionality but you will get the actual RS game. For those that hate the development of RS3, you have a choice. Quit**** is a game, not a life choice. There are many other games to play, many other things you can do besides play this game. I use Chrome, I look forward to RS3 and I'm a P2P player however if Jagex ever brought something the game that I didn't like, I'd simply stop playing. I don't have to play this game. I don't have to pay to play it. I don't have to use Chrome. But I do all these things as it's my choice.
If you get so upset over it, they why don't you just quit? What is so essential for you to keep playing and for Jagex to keep things stagnant so that you get it the way you want?
