I played on Runescape 3 beta for a few hours and went up a fishing level. Then when I got back on Runescape 2 my stats are back to what they were before I got on Runescape 3 with the loss of the fishing level. Are these stats lost and have to be regained?

The beta is totally different on what happens on the live game, If you level there, you won't level in the life game. You can transfer your life game account into the beta, but you can't do it the other way around.

Edit: I forgot to say, your stats won't be regained, as the beta is used for testing, and not for training.

Really? The 22.July? The day when the largest mass murder by one person in history happened in Norway, thanks Jagex. As a Norwegian getting a huge reminder of that date really brings back good memories, as friends of mine were killed there.
I don't think those two things have anything in common, there has happened something bad on every day in the year, there are being mass murders in country's in Afrika right at this moment, so every day could be a bad day of releasing if you see it that way. Please just enjoy the game and be glad that they chose to release RS3 and with that, the 6th age, and a new skill.

Still cant access the beta with my new high end computer always freezes up at the loggin screen runescape 3 may mean its finally time to walk away from rs for me :(

editited for clarity.

Yes i have up to date chrome and drivers.

If you have RS toolbar installed remove it. I was stuck in login, nothing was clickable. I got a tip of removing Rs toolbar and it helped.

im so excited about RS3! the game gets better and better!!
I know, and we even have our own influence on it now! I've been wanting that since I completed Hazeel's cult, around the 5 years ago. I found it was a great idea to be able to choose who you would help, Saradomin or Zamorak? I've allways hoped they would continu that, but Hazeel's cult stayed to be the only quest like that for a looong time, and it was just a short quest too. Now it had finally come for Jagex to fulfill my wish at RS3 :D
