I know I'm going to get a lot of flame for this message, but here goes:

If Gold Members looked at the Terms and Condition and the details of what the package included, no where does it say 'you are entitled to every future item that comes out'. What is included is
12 months of membership at a DISCOUNTED price, 10% off of Solomon's (like any other member, honestly), Paladin armour, 3 daily spins, 2013 priority Beta access, 2,000 Runecoins for free, various cosmetic items from 2012, a newsletter, and an entry into the JaGex HQ drawing

Altogether, this is a one-time payment of *74.95, whereas it could have easily been $95.40 for the 12 months of membership and $49.99 for the 2,000 Runecoins. In total, this is $145.39, and you, the Gold Member, has ended up
saving
*70.44.

While I disagree with JaGex on many things, I don't with this. In conclusion, JaGex has every right to deny you the ability to 'just have' the Aurora armour for free. I am a Gold Member, and I can't believe everyone expects more when they've already received such a huge discount and deal. If I want the armour, I will buy it on my own. An attorney defends a man sued for walking around town in his underwear. It was a brief case.

@Sterre ; they also said the Flaming Skull ect was exclusive to
the gold member package then it was in SGS 2 Months later.
They are money grabbing LYING HYPOCRITES. .And now the end is near its time to raise the final curtain.

This armor set looks so awesome. I have a question not quite answered. What if i go month by month off the game card. Can i not purchase another 1 month card but purchase a the 90 day card instead. Will it give me the gear if i buy a different type of card even know i already had membership.

Even if they are 'money grabbing lying hypocrites', which I do agree with (don't get me wrong), Gold members are still not entitled to freebies.

Business have both their highs and their lows. Most are built for profit-making anyways. They're always going to do something that'll make the majority angry, but them happy (such as taking back their word in regards to the Flaming Skull). Quite right but you would have thought they would have done something for
gold members long ago as a means of a free item, i'm not personally bothered
