I have reoccurring payments, $5.00, the original price for membership, and this is the only online game I've ever spent money on, I refuse to buy the game cards and buy extra memberships for promotions that should be given to all loyal members, not limited to new memberships that pass a ticker, all of them or none.

Personally I've never seen the problem with the 3 month membership card promotions, I mean you are paying for some membership time/ runecoins/ spins, whichever combo you preffer and as an added bonus you indeed get a promotional cosmetic item. As for the premium gold members its even stated as you all signed up for it that it was giving you all the past years promotions, in that agreement nothing is stated about getting all this years exclusive items aswell. I guess what I'm trying to get to is that your complaining over nothing really, and maybe these items will make it to SGS who knows, Bloodpouncer and Skypouncer outfit haven't made it there yet, there's a possibility but who honestly knows. Take a moment and ask yourself if you indeed intend to play for over a year and continue on after that, if you don't find that you need to buy a 3 month extra membership refer back to my previous message, you don't have to pick 3 months just buy the red card, Heck get some runecoins or spins if you care that much for the item after all sounds like alot of you intend to buy these things if they make it to SGS anyways so why not just get it with a card?

Irony behind all of these cosmetic overrides is that no matter how good you look, they're merely cover-ups that only show money and not skill. Even as a Gold Premium Member, and if this was even given to us, I would never wear such a thing looking like that. Dragon Keepsakes on the other hand, though others still have to pay to get them and pay $, are decent in showing skill. They show that you actually required them through working on skill and killing to make enough money to buy the gear. They also give new life to gear gained through questing. My main point here is before complaining how you deserve such items, think to yourself about if you would even wear it.

As for the items you got from Premium Membership and not given to you as cosmetic overrides without requiring Dragon Keepsakes, that's a different, and long, complaint thread.

This can all be argued with but, after all, this is forums in which is meant for it.

Wow, the maturity level here is at all time lows... O_o

Honestly, I would be upset too when left with empty promises.

However, based on the past this should have been expected by everyone.

I do agree though moving on from the orange color and flame concept is wise.

Love it or hate it, I am getting an uneasy feeling about these things.

I understand that some ppls like to buy these things and jagex likes to sell it, sure.

However, with respect to the live game, there are several persistent flaws (ranging from technical issues, bugs, glitches to game balance to overall quality etc.) that at times render the game unplayable.

The reason for my uneasy feeling about these cosmetic products is that all these sorts of fancy things are like decorative wrapping paper wrapping up a flawed, broken toy.

Sure, it might look good on the outside but, the actual substance of the game, the game itself is broken.

So, Mod William, is this game now just about fancy wrapping paper or is jagex gonna pay more attention to the actual quality, correct the flaws and, improve the playability and enjoyment of the gameplay?
