Thank you Elder kdwh, my computer seems to be working fine now, but I'm going nowhere near beta again.
And Wolfnight30, whine, whine, whine..... you bet. I don't mind a bit of lag etc. I expect that, but I'm not messing with something that might destroy my graphics card. Nathaniel Tg (would that be Throbbing Gristle?), sounds like good advice, but I'm not going to risk it. Last night I thought I'd killed my computer.

Just tried to log in Runescape Beta after getting acceptance e-mail and i keep getting unknown device JAG has sent you an e-mail to accept this device , this device works still on RS do i need to switch something on /off on chrome to get this device accepted?

If you didn't sign up for the beta in time as you said you didn't, then you can't play the beta until it is in-game, it isn't up for all members yet,just the ones who registered in time.

It's VERY slow - had to refresh my page two times so far in the first 5 minutes of trying to get in.
