i was trying the beta but dc'd couldn't log back for some reason... i was still waiting for it load as every time i did i moved it needed to reload everything... was kinda expecting that.. but the dc put a stop to it...

Well that was scary. Had to do some stuff to bypass account guardian, but managed to get on to beta. It was too slow and jerky to use. The graphics setting was set on custom and would not let me reduce it. My computer kept on crashing.
I logged off the internet and came back on, but visuals were corrupted by purple patches and windows vista graphics accelerator kept crashing. This was just the same on google chrome and mozilla firefox; now I was not on beta, just the runescape home page.
I thought you had broken my computer, but I've rebooted and it seems to be working normally again.
I will not be going anywhere near beta again until I get reassurance.
I'm on windows 7 with plenty of spare memory, no added graphics cards or anything else, just the standard windows 7 set up.

Radeon 7770, 3.00 GHZ, and I am 32 bit ram capped. the beta suddenly made my computer freak out to the point where I had to emergency shut down the whole thing. No other time has this occurred. I'm now scared for my computer to login. I will keep a close eye on this thread.

EDIT: eddy razor, Be very careful. that is how my first graphics card ( gtx 220 ) has died. I reccomend getting a checkup on it, purple is the last color you want to see on a graphical error.

Well I didn't sign up for the beta in time, but how come it says HTML5 for all registrants? When I try to click it just says I'm not eligible, because I didn't signup in time.

Help please its saying invalid username/pass but i'm typing in the correct credentials and can log into regular rs no problem but not html5! =(

I registered for the beta the first day the registration came out, but I cannot log into the beta.. Would appreciate if this was fixed ^_^

Guys remember to make sure your GPU drivers and browser are updated. Also when you start before you login change your graphics settings to min and work your way up from there it helps so you can find out what settings you can play at with reasonable FPS.

Logging in from the same computer I always have, and JAG tells me it's an unrecognized device, but ONLY when I try HTML5 Beta?
