I was in NIS beta I hit the Escape key and chose the exit to Runescape main page option. When I logged in to the regular game none of the things I did in beta saved. Is there a way to keep progress in beta?
Or can I take all my stuff to solo Nex (I'm only level 169) and then log in to current Runescape and be back where I started? ^_^

I'm currently playing the NIS as I write this post. I admit I thought it was a little bit confusing at first and was thinking "How do I make my game screen bigger". But as soon as I found out how to do that and all the different menu's you can place/resize, I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

Haven't found any bugs yet, which is good news. But I look forward to seeing more updates!

Just a quick question to refresh my memory; Is anything done on the NIS alpha affecting your character in the live game?

Edit: and another question, are there any rules regarding showing this off to the general public? E.g. Are we allowed to record videos of the NIS and upload to youtube? or are people allowed to stream?

Jagex something I really want to see with the new interface system is more keybinds for abilities/food/potions ext. They don't necessarily have to be a bar, some kind of box tucked away that could be toggled on or off maybe? I don't know about other people but I've been in situations where more keybinds would be ideal e.g. in Dungeoneering where 12 to 15 abilities are used (by me any way), the teleports and different equipment sets.

Please please please make it happen. :D

slim windows mode, no idea what that is, but it sounds good.

That's where you can remove the window header bars so they don't have the descriptions on them. So the mini-map won't have the brown bar at the top with "MINI MAP" on it. :)

So I have a question. The way I zoom out and in on Rs eoc at the moment is by holding down on my scroll button which adjust the camera anyway I need it. This is because my scroll button I'm my mouse is broken.(And bills come first, before a mouse :P ) So, how would I go about zooming out on alpha or even in later rs3? You have an option in eoc and just wanted to see if there would be a zoom out option on rs3. Tired of being zoomed on my character's butt. lol. :) Thank you.

Wait...my game has just gone into a ''cinematic'' kind of view? Any help on how to get out of it? XD

Edit: Fixed by going to lobby and back into the game, any idea if this feature is intentional though, or a bug?

At the moment, everything you do on the NIS Alpha server is completely separate and does not carry over to the live game. When you log in, it imports a copy of your live save game, but it will not alter anything back on the live game when doing so. So, feel free to load up, get killed by Nex and suffer no consequences on the live game.

It's worth noting that the HTML5 Beta *is* linked to your live save, so you still need to be careful when playing that.

I hope that clears up any confusion. :)
