I always wanted to make a remix of a Runescape song, because the melody is quiet original and because the RS2 instruments aren't my fav (glad that the RS3 music sounds epic now)
I'm also thinking of making multiple remixes in different styles but idk :p I guess I'll stick to my current remix and make it sound better and better while adding stuff over time When you feel stuck in depths of guilt, you're not alone as it is the path of many.
But the smartest don't stay stuck, they get on the path of repentance.

I'm gonna enter! I'm calling mine Scape Epic because it's going to be epic. I'm already a minute into it and it's coming along great. I can't wait to see how this ends.

Music composition is a contest I've been waiting for for a very long time -- truly exciting, and I thank Mod Lord and the other staff for their dedication in managing this!
My only concern is that now we hear that the in-game setting is likely pre-determined (the Falador Party Room), we will be somewhat limited by the styles that could work there. Party Pete is such a well-developed character in the game that a mournful string arrangement with a cor anglais counter-melody or a skirl of bagpipes interwoven with flutes may not match his area.
Obviously 'up-tempo' and 'danceable' still leaves a vast swath of possibilities for creativity, so this isn't really a complaint, but just more of a concern that the entries will have to be judged at least in some measure by their suitability to the pre-planned game setting. Choosing a suitable place in-game after the contest is over would have afforded the entrants ultimate flexibility while not swaying them ahead of time at all.
But that said I'm in! And I'm extremely excited! To work.
