So according to a rough estimate of an "account" being created every 5 seconds ('account' being individual players, those players' additional accounts, and any players' bots : P), based on a completely unscientific or mathematical average derived from me looking at the account ticker for about 30 seconds, I'd say we have 4-months-ish to go until reaching the 200 million mark.
Great job Jagex!
When you do get the 200 millionth account, and its time to celebrate, how about doing something worth my while?
DON'T incorporate the squeal of fortune or weekends in ANY WAY. And DON'T do anything that has to do with the forums.
Just make a nice story line based event, with fun rewards. Maybe incorporate the 200m'th account into it!
so why doesnt jagex delete banned accs(mostly bots)? because of this
why does jagex not delete throw-away rwt/adverting autotypers? because of this
why were 99% of the bots caught in the last bot nuke not banned? because of this
so if u deleted all the banned accs, and all the throw-away autotypers what would be left?75mil?

It's great to see how much Runescape has grown over the years, the good and bad. Congratulations Jagex on the player count and the continuation of a wonderful game to be apart of and play.
You shouldn't be so proud of all of the bots in this game, if anything u should finally realize that there is 20 bots for every one real person playing....So i guess if ur proud of this "accomplishment" its cool.
considering there's only 150k-200k playing per day and even less than that at times....200m accounts created?......lets try maybe 500k-1m actual players and the rest being bots. Lets not forget about all the level 3 bald men bots from back in the day chopping yews named wcbob1-wcbob4894789
