Okay, I agree with all of you, that most of these are bots, but you half to look, at. how many people have quit runescape, because they've grown up or got lives and dont have time for a game anymore who has a wife and children to care for?., of course people stick with it, i mean, when im older and get bored ill probably log on to see how things are.

Would be happy if Jagex's 200m account's reward was one of the following:1 Jagex either release the new combat beta (to f2p also) or the combat update itself.2 A huge bot nuke.3 Expanded content for f2p even more ( I mean c'mon 19 quest and limited items for f2p! How can you claim that membership is twice the content of f2p when f2p barely has any content?)4 Get rid of or completely change the SoF into something that is actually efficient and important.5 A new weapon and/or item(s) exclusively for the combat update pre-released to everyone early on (so we can experiment and learn to use them early on in-game).6 Get rid of or make the DMC, Dwarf Multi Cannon, more slower and innaccurate ( I dislike the DMC because of people who messes up everyone else's training and fun with them).7 Expand content available for your character creation. We need customizable characters to be more customizable not limited.8 Make the day the 200m account created an official Jagex holiday that should be treated as an annual holiday event.9 Temporarily ban players for 1 week per minor offense made instead of just simply muting a player (major offenses should result in a permanent ban).10 Release an update that is somewhat similar to random events that involves an un-attackable NPC appearing before a player who has being doing the same thing for a certain amount of time. Have the NPC ask questions pertaining to what the person has been doing for that long period of time. If that person gets a set number of questions wrong or doesn't reply in an allotted time the NPC teleports them to "Bot Court" where they are held until they finish some type of an event that proves their innocence. Chances are if they can't interact with this event they are obviously a bot. P.S The reason I say questions pertaining to what they are doing in that situation is because people who uses bots don't watch their bots bot. Therefore, they wont know the questions.

At least you wrote 'account' instead of 'player' or it would have looked like you're trolling us. But anyway thats quite nice number. But watching the counter makes us realise how many bots are created every min and thats rather concerning than spectacular.

i have been playing on and off for about 5 years now and after coming back from an almost 2 year hiatus i have to say that i am proud of and disappointed by runescape all at the same time. i can remember when i first joined back around august 2007 i was doing the tutorial and couldnt for the life of me figure out how to smith a bronze med helm or something like that and i would not ask for help from my dad my mom or anyone. it took me two hours of running in circles before i finally tried using the bronze bar on the anvil. when i finally figured it out i felt like an idiot for not trying it sooner but ever since then ive learned that asking for help isnt such a bad thing and sometimes its the hardest thing you can do to ask for help you dont want but its usually when you dont want it that you need it most. so now i come to my point Jagex you have a great game here and a great fanbase and i am asking you not to throw that fanbase away as it seems you have been doing for the longest time now. ask your fans and especially the players who are spending their money to play your game what THEY want added to the game or changed about the game. because you may have created this amazing game but you didnt do it by yourself. i remember when you could always find mods no matter when or where or on what world you were playing and people could go to them and suggest things or talk about things and know they were being heard. however this game isnt like that anymore. you ignore suggestions even when they come from thousands of esteemed and longtime players. you add things that we dont want and when we (the people who fund your ability to add things to this game in the first place) ask you to get rid of or change what we dont like you ignore us because you seem to think you know what we want. im here to tell you that even though you have lots of great stuff in this game you dont always know what we want and ignoring that will eventually come back to bite you.
yours always,

Ps.. This is more of an invitation for bots!!. Hard to expect that the remaining amount of about 2.2m accounts would be occupied by players.. Well, maybe occupied by players due time, just not as fast as jagex crew expect..
Not to offend you, but this is not actually something worth celebrating
